Today we are thrilled to announce that Dane Hallett, one of the very talented concept artists who worked on Ridley Scott's Alien: Covenant will once again be lending his talents to Fede Alvarez's Alien: Romulus and all things Giger-inspired! His Instagram post teased a number of exciting details, including an all-star team of artists (likely other familiar faces from Covenant), an impassioned director and a suggested R rating - we expect plenty of Alien mayhem!
We had the pleasure of interviewing Dane Hallett back in 2017 following his work on Alien: Covenant, you can read that here if you haven't already to get a sense of how passionate he is as not only an artist, but as an Alien fan too! Knowing that he's involved only increases our excitement for the project!

The future of Alien
The Alien franchise is taking a dramatic turn at 20th Century Studios, now owned by Disney. Currently there are two major Alien projects in development - a new Alien TV series by Noah Hawley and a new, stand-alone Alien movie being directed by Fede Alvarez. Both of which will be taking the franchise in a new direction - moving away from the Alien prequel direction Ridley Scott set out to pursue back in 2012.
