MemberXenomorphMar-09-2017 6:59 PMWith Alien Covenant a few short 70 days away has anyone considered the AC:VR Universe? Its due to be released right after the movie. So, what VR System were you looking to purchase? What are your expectations, needs, wants, hopes, fears, of the Alien universe?
With that said my expectation is that it is going to be awesome. I hope it is as scary as the movie. I have already ordered the Oculus VR for 500(USD). I'm going to be upgrading my system so I can run Oculus when AC:VR currently my video card isn't VR compatible so this should be interesting over the next 2 months.

I want to put VR goggles on someone asleep so they can wake up to a xenomorph.

MemberFacehuggerMar-10-2017 3:18 AMI am very worried about AC:VR.
This is the same team that made The Martian VR Experience. It is currently reviewed as "Mostly Negative" on Steam right now. I've seen the gameplay on youtube and it looks terrible.
It was sold for 20$ at release, for 20mins of content.

I believe waking up to a xenomorph in VR can be used as a great management tool for those close to you. And yes, used sparingly unless there is a vital need for a constant application of this technology to someone in need of it.
