Christmas came early for Alien fans this year! Fox have released three of a six-part dossier which will expose the history of the fictional franchise evil Weyland-Yutani corporation! The images associated with each chronicle seems to look like game concept art, perhaps a lead-up to Fox's upcoming official announcement for their currently untitled Alien game project!
However, this being related to the upcoming Alien game is purely speculation at this time. They could be teasing the rumored Alien TV series as well, or it could be for something completely unrelated entirely - the Alien: Covenant sequel?! The speculation is limitless at this point, but check out the currently released dossiers below and check back tomorrow for when the last three are released as well:
"Day 1: Arrived at the facility. Weyland-Yutani has poured massive resources into this orbital facility. I’ve come to investigate rumors about accidents in a secret research program."
"Day 2: The facility is hiding a terrible secret. Highly aggressive mega-parasites with corrosive blood. They’re breeding them, using them for research."
"Day 3: Breeding program is a house of horrors. They’re torturing and killing people, using them as hosts for the larvae. Where did these people come from?"

The future of Alien
The Alien franchise is taking a dramatic turn at 20th Century Studios, now owned by Disney. Currently there are two major Alien projects in development - a new Alien TV series by Noah Hawley and a new, stand-alone Alien movie being directed by Fede Alvarez. Both of which will be taking the franchise in a new direction - moving away from the Alien prequel direction Ridley Scott set out to pursue back in 2012.
