More than a hundred years have passed since the events of Aliens, and the struggles of Ellen Ripley against a species of ancient, relentless biomechanical weapons have been consigned to myth. The Earth flourished since then. Mankind enjoyed peace and expansion throughout the cosmos…before it was all swept away.
Olethros follows a weakened family that is still trying to survive the unspeakable horrors inflicted on the earth 4 years prior by a mysterious extraterrestrial force. From shattered cityscapes to treacherous forests, from looming mountains to cavernous rivers, there’s a new beast, a new parasite, a new level of fear lurking around every corner. Soon, it becomes clear that mankind’s innate will to survive may not be enough against the cosmic horrors to come.

I'm not giving everything away so soon, buddy! :) It's intended to be horror on a massive scale, but from a very raw and intimate perspective. In addition to writing it, I also want to design some visual aids (artwork) to enhance the reading, much like the Aliens - Tribes graphic novel.

OH, you have my attention!!
LOVE the poster!!!
IN SPACE THERE IS NO WARNING

What is the meaning behind calling it Olethros? Love the Ellen Ripley myth premise.

I think wiki sums it up pretty well:
"In Ancient Greek mythology, Olethros was the personification of Havoc and probably one of the Makhai. Olethros translates roughly in ancient Greek to "destruction", but often with a positive connotation, as in the destruction required for and preceding renewal."
Essentially, imagine what happened to the Engineers in Alien Covenant, but on a planetary scale, and unfortunately, we're on the receiving end of it.
