Danny McBride and James Franco are friends and he probably did the part for no money.:) Smoke 'em if you got ' em!

I kinda felt more bad for Daniels since the person playing her husband is a known actor.

Strangely, the way he played the part in the Last Supper made it feel like they would have been a good match. Don't really know why, but I could imagine them as early settlers in futuristic pilgrim fashion

Last Supper Prologue
Tennessee- "...you're not feeling good?"
Franco- "...I'm just burning up."

I know, right? This totally irked me. Stupid, he could have been played by anyone. What a let down (sorry, I actually don't mind Franco).
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched Androids blow and finger each other's flutes.

I think it works because you feel like you kinda know Branson. His death carries more weight as a result.

One question lol?!
I kind of like the idea of having properly released scenes via a website which add to films because they would make the film too long for the cinema cut. But this one was odd i was looking at him burning thinking that was him? That was it? Directors cut might amend this :s .
"It's almost as if they are making it up as they go along" :D
