WTF is this alien 5?

Nope, it's dead. So don't worry about it. The ALIENverse is fully in the hands of the man who created it.

When I heard about ALIEN-5, I went digging. Found a mess of confusing and contradictory information, some really LAME ideas that were the province of pure cash-grab based off having S. Weaver and M. Biehn involved. The entire concept was limited, flawed and would do nothing to further the depth and expansion of the audience's knowledge of the ALIENverse. Basically, it was ALIENS 28 years later...and again, on LV-426.

The 'script' never existed, despite James cameron's claims, and the 10 page 'pitch' (which Cameron probably confused for a script) was something I wouldn't even use to clean our cat's litterboxes with.

In short, it was an aberrant abomination that would have killed the entire franchise, or done so much damage that no one would ever take the ALIEN franchise seriously again.

Rot In Peace ALIEN 5, may you never rise again to cast your spectre of low-grade mediocrity across the franchise we love so much.
