Urns will return in ALIEN: Covenant!

MemberFacehuggerJul-22-2016 6:10 AMI agree, that certainly looks to be the case. But they don't appear to be in a similar setting as in 'Prometheus'. The setting looks more like catacombs. The different size urns has always been interesting to me. Sarcophagus and the remains of Engineers are in them, like a recent post was suggesting?

MemberDeaconJul-22-2016 8:25 AMYes very interesting...
The question is that location where they store the Urns for use on set? Or is it actually from a set...
If its the later then it would mean those Urns are stored in some kind of more Ancient but very non-Engineer Bio-Mechanical Catacomb
This could show maybe there is a lack of Bio-Tech on Paradise? or maybe not.... it could show that these Urns have been there for thousands of years and then we have to ask was they transported from LV-223
But then it could just as easily be that David has hidden them away in such a place... but yes interesting that Urns play a role...
I think this time maybe Ridley would show us more of how you get from those Urns to a Xenomorph.

MemberFacehuggerJul-25-2016 3:50 AMHi folks! :) Before I get in to my reply I just want to say I have been a reader of this site for a while now: You all contribute some fascinating and interesting ideas and discussions and definitely whet my appetite for AC and all things ALIEN! Big thanks to all those involved in the site!
Back on topic: The Urns in the picture above do seem to be in more of a natural /tomb like setting as opposed to a bio mechanical ship . . . Also, I seem to remember the Urns in Prometheus being all the same size, but could be wrong about that, whereas those pictured seem to vary; they also look a lot older and 'worn'.
Makes me think that these perhaps contain the 'original' or sacred goo before it was (possibly) tweaked by the Engineers . . .
However, we don't know what the Urns looked like on the ship David and ES used, if there were any on it at all? Although going on the theory that LV-223 was an installation for producing/altering goo, then you would assume that all ships had Urns as cargo.
A thought provoking image nonetheless . . .
