If he makes a sequel will he change base designs, use helpful plot devices from the original, and remove the top or cover over peoples heads (the removal of the dome on the alien's head was a tragedy and removed any mystery that had been over the creature).

Thankfully Cameron is busy with his own blue guys for the foreseeable future. Wake me up when he decides to make a film for adults again....that doesn't involve water

However, I think Christopher Nolan, if he was ever interested, could perhaps lend a very interesting directorial edge to the franchise if he were ever interested? His track record is quite, if not, very impressive - to me. What with the Revisioned Batman trilogy and Inception to name but a few. What do you people think out thetre?

So very few directors out there that I follow....no matter who is cast, what the story or genre is....ill be buying a ticket....Nolan, Scorcese, Paul T Anderson, Coens and the amazing Park Chanwook and Miike Out of this bunch Chanwook and Miike stand out as the director I would want at the reins to deliver something truly disturbing.

I always thought that Nolan might have been an interesting choice for the Blade Runner franchise too. But make no mistake, I am ABSOLUTELY HAPPY that Ridley Scott is intending to take the helm of another Blade runner film! YES!!! But I will say, i'm plugging the Nolan thing arn't I, he would be a good choice to be a part of Blade Runner prequel/sequel franchise in at least SOME fashion. Think Batman Begins crossed with erm??? BLADE RUNNER!!! Do others think so as well?

Cameron will be busy for the next five years or six with AVATAR films! But there again, he's supposed to be going under water for that too!!!!! Pretty soon he will be a Gungan!!!

Honestly, a nice title for a sequel would be Epimetheus. Not joking, or I would say E P I M E T H E U S. Epimetheus is Prometheus's brother, and as Prometheus means "he who thinks first" (derived from the ancient greek word for "forethought"), Epimetheus means "he who thinks after" (from the ancient greek word for "afterthought"). Epimetheus is the opposite of his brother and is not very bright, so the title wouldn't be the name for a Spaceship or a project (unless the director is david Zucker, or Mel Brooks), but rather a sarcastic title for the evil things that would generate starting from where Prometheus ends.

Are you sure? You may encounter resistance. Oh, well if you believe in it. Let's see what Prometheus has in store for us to then let our imaginations go wild for possible sequels/prequels. He (RS) may decide to do a prequel to the 'prequel'! It's a possibility. You never know. He could keep going back and back instead of the expected forwards motion. Or continue sideways even more. Lets just watch Prometheus first to see what he has in store for us then really begin to speculate! Yes...

James Cameron has recently stated that he is only going to make Avatar sequels till he dies. Very disappointing for me as I like his work but one Avatar movie is enough for me. IMO I think this is how Avatar should have ended - no sequels. You could be right. But I wouldn't complain if and when an Avatr sequel maybe prequel came along. i would go and watch it. And I'm betting you would too! lol!
