It has been a few weeks since the PlayStation and Xbox release of Predator: Hunting Grounds and Sci-Fi gaming fans from all over the world are now pretty much demanding a Hunting Grounds game that will feature Xenomorph. Such a game would of course not be the first one to feature XX121, as the Alien franchise has inspired numerous gaming developers over the last forty years. Even though many of these games have not been successful, a game similar to that featuring the Predator would probably become a best seller in no time.
About Predator: Hunting Grounds
In Hunting Grounds, players can choose to play both like the Predator as well as the soldiers trying to survive. It is a fast-paced multiplayer game where you can switch from hunting to being hunted. The idea and the mechanics of the game are not new, as similar games have been released in recent years, however. It is the first shooter survival game that features both the Predator as well as Dutch; the character whom Arnold Schwarzenegger portrayed in the first movie of the Predator franchise. Two to five players are required to play a game round, and during each round, you can use both human and alien weapons or equipment.
Despite getting mixed reviews, the game’s release was a success, selling thousands of copies all over the world. Many of course would have liked to get a better user experience from the game and who instead looked for Immortal Romance slot sites using their Internet browsers, to satisfy their gaming needs. In defence of the Hunting Grounds development team, it is worth mentioning that today’s gamers have set the standards really high, making it hard for gaming studios to create a game that will satisfy every player’s needs.
Engaging a Legend in the Game’s Production Could Lead to Something Memorable
Getting everything right when creating a game is almost impossible. This applies to both low budget titles as well as multi-million-pound titles. If an Alien: Hunting Grounds game were to be released, then Ridley Scott’s participation would really help the studio make a game for the ages. During a recent interview, the award-winning director said that he still has a few ideas about the future of the franchise. Even though his thoughts were more towards creating new films, it is certain that he can find ways to play an important role in creating an Alien game that will meet the expectations of the fans.
Imagine playing a game where the player can assume the role of Xenomorph, Ripley, Ash, Arthur Dallas or even David 8. During the game, players would find themselves hunting or being hunted on different locations such as Paradise, Earth or LV-426. Getting the players to compete on a wide variety of locations and to be able to select iconic characters from the movies, will help break the monotony that many Predator: Hunting Grounds players complained about while playing the game.
How Long Would It Take for an Alien: Hunting Grounds Game to Be Created?
It takes a long time for a game to be created. It took Predator: Hunting Grounds developers 14 months to get the game ready for launch, and that is with only one actual hunting ground. For a game with multiple hunting grounds and multiple characters, it would take a development team at least two years to take care of everything that is needed for the release of the game.

The future of Alien
The Alien franchise is taking a dramatic turn at 20th Century Studios, now owned by Disney. Currently there are two major Alien projects in development - a new Alien TV series by Noah Hawley and a new, stand-alone Alien movie being directed by Fede Alvarez. Both of which will be taking the franchise in a new direction - moving away from the Alien prequel direction Ridley Scott set out to pursue back in 2012.
