daliens - Probably that is a brilliant piece of news showing that Disney would like to work with Ridley Scott in the future. I think we'll get the perfect Alien prequel from Scott.

I hope the Alien prequel is not going to be too late, still wish they will start filming this year. Probably Blomkamp smelled Ridley Scott is the victor and "moved on" before the announcement being made by Disney.
It's so damn strange to imagine the Disney logo at the beginning of an alien film... I can't take seriously. They have to prove otherwise. And soon. We are out of topics here.

Ati I tried to tell my wife it was alright to let our young daughter watch Alien films now for that very reason.....They are Disney films now ;-)

I embarrassed her at a dinner where someone mentioned MUFON and I knew what they were talking about and I then spoke about our vital work here. I had been virtually silent until that point and she was disappointed in my participation in common banter.

However, Disney should strike while the iron is hot on Alien, there is clearly major fan interest all over the internet right now, and if Disney's film PR team is smart, they'll start throwing out nuggets of hope for the franchise, which means $$$$$$$$$$$ for the mouse house.
One huge thing - he next film, hoping that it happens, must have memorable characters, which also prints money from merchandise for the mouse house.
