'Said the fandom after Prometheus.
And Ridley Scott gave the fandom Xenomorphs and a ridiculously handsome robot who loves Xenomorphs just as much as the fandom does.
And the fandom still has to complain…'

MemberTrilobiteOct-17-2017 10:55 PMWe do love Xenomorphs! It seems the trick is to keep them scary and mean without becoming caricatures of themselves. An odd comparison is Freddy Kruger. The first- 3rd Nightmare on Elm-street he was pretty scary but he became almost comical by the last movie.

We grew up watching the same movies dk. Did you like Prince of Darkness?
I love the light bearer drawing Ati. Thank you.

MemberNeomorphOct-22-2017 7:12 AMXenos can be menacing but you got to have sympathetic human characters to make it work and also not show the monster too much. This is why Alien worked because we had characters that we found sympathetic (maybe except for Ash, LOL) and they never showed the Xeno too much but still we knew that it was around and the atmosphere in the spaceship added to the feeling of the movie. My point is that just have an interesting monster isn't enough, you need other things also.
