Submissive creature from Mural Prometheus

In one of the leaked images from Covenant it appears an Engineer or a human was fighting a creature that is very similar to the creature on the mural. Not sure if that leaked image will be a flash back scene as it seems that the creature and engineer were turned to ash or perhaps it was a statue.
What do you guys think of this mysterious creature?

Thats the creature I am talking about. If you look at the bigger picture of that same scene, you can see an Engineer to the left who is at least 3-4 feet taller than the rest and has another creature/human/engineer under his armpit in a submissive position. We also see a human or engineer on his knees worshipping that taller engineer. This is all happening at the same time as the photo you posted.
Its very interesting to say the least
