Various trailers were shown off from fox including alien covenant- katherine waterson was in attendance and had some ntersting things to say about how they were allowed to get involved with the dark aspects of the film

Two clips and a new trailer were shown for Alien Covenant. The movie has all the style in Prometheus, with its industrial Byzantine production design hearkening backing to Ridley Scott’s original movie. He introduced the clips by video, but star Katherine Waterson was in house to tell us a little more. Yes, her character is reminiscent of Sigourney Weaver’s Ripley, but it’s not clear from the narrative whether the two are related. The actress said that the inspiration for her bowl haircut in the movie came from her fellow Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them character Ezra Miller. Waterson spoke about how Scott gave her and her fellow actors Michael Fassbender, Billy Crudup the freedom to work on the dark stuff in the film. “We’d then show him what we came up with, and if he didn’t like it, we reworked it,” said the actress about the actors’ sci-fi playground.

Here is my theory as a broader Synopsis/Plots if i was to just take what we officially know so far, include Ridleys Comments, Synopsis, Cast Members Comments , Production Comments and also Photos be it Official and Leaked ones... (Photos dont lie).

Ignore what the Source said, or other so called Leaks... so next post my theory to broad strokes to the movie lol

This be work in progress and change when more information is out and trailers.

Here we go.....

The Covenant is off looking for place to colonize to get away and start a new..... they then gain information (David) that then make them head to Paradise instead.  Then Synopsis seems to indicate they maybe never expected David and so maybe via Shaw or some other beacon set off by David.

The Crew arrive and find a Jungle like World, that also lot of Water and Hills... (New Zealand setting) this World may be similar to Earth, a Garden Paradise.... but some of it is evolved a bit, and Worlds Atmosphere has a Green/Yellow hew more than our Clear Blue one.

They explore and come across David, who goes back with them and starts to explain what the place was a bit.. (dont mention about the Experiments and Goo) just what Paradise was supposed to be (post Disaster)

I think he disables the ship.. to strand it

He then leads some of the crew to look at the remains of Ancient Culture he has discovered that lead to our Origins... may go on about Creation Mythos and Quotes.... He is very Persuasive to some of the crew (Daniels) but Walter is suspicious and tries to give caution.... but Walter is not Human and so he cant understand what Curiosity is and does.

They maybe see Walter acting a bit jealous of David, as David was to Holloway because of limitations in Freedom.

This upsets Daniels... she decides he being a little boy and is so intrigued by David and what he has found.... he takes them to some ruins etc..  Talks a bit about Engineers/What ever Civilization is found..

He Acts Cagey when Walter is asking how he found this place, but the Humans are fascinated by the discovery... David explains what happened to the Civilisation but he is not 100% honest.

Some other go off wander on their own, without their Tour Guide David, and well they pay the price....  David finds them he is upset at them wandering of (fearful they may find out whats going on) he leads them to a Cave, and get them infected.)

Ship is repaired but crew want to stay despite Walters Warnings as he suspects David sabotaged the ship...  two people go missing, they are found...

a) Either one of them has something happen in the Forest

b) or one mentions something that frames David and he kills them or something

c) one runs back and discovers a horror and warns them but is taking out by it.

They run off to the ship.... make a escape leave David behind...

They want to get the Hell out of there.... 

1-2 of the Crew are infected, the rest of the crew so concerned with getting away from David and the Hell of Paradise to worry about it... they are all glad some of them had escaped.

Chest Bursters... and Xenos loose on ship... pick the crew off Alien/Alien 3 style.... 

They bring Guns out but that leads to a Hull Breach, Ship is in bad shape....   

David arrives on Juggernaught disabled the ship via some EMP device.... gets on board...    

Walter fights him and saved few survivors... Walter gets infected, and Chest Bursts a Xeno...

David offers Daniels a Covenant.... says he never meant no harm, makes a excuse and basically same as Prometheus... She is not going no place soon...

David wants to take her on a journey for answers...

either

a) She accepts like Shaw she has no way out and so she agrees a Covenant.... which lead to next movie. Leaves in Juggernaught

b) She refuses and manages to escape on Shuttle or Juggernaught.

c) as above but David explains what he has, and that if she does not do what he says he will beat her to Earth and Unleash Hell.... so she has to deal with him.... and escape (either shuttle or Juggernaught)   or she conceeds that she has to make a deal with David.

Either or combination of these leads to a Cliffhanger or maybe Cliffhanger is lead up to these.. and this is where we are set up for the next movie..

Off course if i take Source as correct, then it would offer a slightly different Plot.... but the Source's information is on Prometheus 2... AC is the aftermath... of what happened between Prometheus and Covenant.

So thats a rough idea i have from clues..... my theory lol

But we can maybe add the Spore leak to flesh it out, and maybe David and Weyland flash Back...

But thats how i take the Synopsis and clues and expand it.
