Got the same email from weyland read some of the stuff on project genesis implies shaw knew about the urns and the jockies WTF!!!!!!!! I'm going in to hibernation til October or my brain is gonna be pickled Got to think tho how hard it would be for a studio to keep it under wraps if the sequel has already been filmed but on the same note why go to all the trouble mind fucking us for a DVD release ?????? One thing I do know is we're gonna need some bigger servers

"Also Sprach Zaratustra" is, in general (and IMHO), about overcoming human weaknesses (one of them is so-called morality) and becoming something/someone more significant and stronger, but, in terms of judeo-christian point of view, something more primitive than humanity (I mean, more connected to our animal roots and instintcs BUT with all the knowledge and development we've achieved so far). It's hard to say this in a few words, but... David8 AND Xeno seem to me as two sides of the same, nietzschezan, coin (not to mention Roy Batty, of course) . AND the connection to 2001 soundtrack ("Also Sprach Zaratustra" by Richard Strauss) is quite obvious. Geez, so much to think about. But I love having this state of mind :P

Could you imagine if they've already filmed the second part and kept it a secret this whole time?! If you remember from when Ridley Scott originally talked about wanting to film an Alien prequel (a few years ago), the intention was to make it two films - http://www.guardian.co.uk/film/2010/apr/27/ridley-scott-alien-prequels-3d Regardless, it's fun to speculate!!

Wish I could edit - I posted http://www.whatis101112.com on Facebook and in the preview section it says - "The next phase of Project Prometheus is coming.." I loved and hated the movie...more on the love side. Sure it's really made of dumb people in the group but it had to take us there fast to keep the "other" audience entertained bring in the box office money. I think he is going to fill in those "holes" for the fan this fall.

I also agree, it was fast paced, the acting was mediocre but I think this is just the tip of the iceberg...just to get things rolling in the direction it needs to go.

10-11-12 is the first day of Comic-Con in NYC. Just wanted to throw that out there. An announcement of the DVD release would be pretty lackluster, so I'm going to assume that something more will happen. Trailer for Prometheus 2 maybe? Or a release date? Or we're all just reading way too much into this and not much is going to happen on that date.

The Sacrificial Engineer committed ritualized suicide to seed Earth with new life, wiping out the old protolife in favor of the Bio-Former transformed starter material of the Sacrificial Engineer's neo matrix. We are the products of the resurrection of the Sacrificial Engineer, our G-d who died for us. I'm choosing my words carefully here. I mean just what I said. No one seems to have made the connection to [i]Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn[/i]'s Project Genesis. Scott is again showing his penchant for dark humor. It's no accident Weyland Corp is persuing its Project Genesis to find concrete proof of the Engineers' seeding Earth's new [neo] life matrix by the Sacrificial Engineer. What does this mean? Well, I'm betting the [i]Juggernaut I[/i] lone surviving Engineer said a lot before he tore David's head off. Or, he said a lot to David's head before he leaves for the Prometheus Life Boat after his ship is mortally wounded by USCSS [i]Prometheus[/i]. Scott is tricky! Great editing. I'm also betting 10.11.12 at just before midnight is a release time of the extended version of the film with the longer conversation intact. Thus Spake Superman, indeed!
