Ok. I say the white worm is crawling into a bio mechanical suit. I am pausing on that and it looks like the arm opens and the worm crawls in. Just my take..

Do you have a link. What I read in a accidental or intentional released draft last night is that it is a parasite the engineer uses on Shaw. It has 4 claws that attaches to the abdomen and tears a hole in it. When it is released by the engineer thumping it with a blue charge, the parasite curls up into a ball and the engineer seals it in a ampule along with a metal rod that was also inserted into Shaw when the parasite was attached to her. Those claws are visible when David is seen pulling it out of the ampule.

could the white worm be crawling in the '79 "derelict" pilots suit? and the resulting chestburster is very similar to the Xeno we know and it IS THE SAME ONE that "laid" the eggs in the derelict/cave?!?!?!

this could perhaps be one of the last scenes of the movie? or maybe it takes a while for this worm to infect its host so he has it throughout the movie?

Looks like a human suit to me. The details are very hard edged. Not like the jockey tech. How about the eyeball thing?

Genjitsu17, are you sure? I have been able to pause and play quick enough to see the suit arm open up and the worm crawl in. Like it was meant to happen, not like attacked. And the suit is black and has the Giger look.

well considering that they are the creators of man I am going to say that is a SJ sperm :). ( come on , I couldn't be the only one to think that. Think evolution , a snake like predator mating with a human could hatch a xeno could it not ?

The triple hexagon pattern by the elbow doesn't look Giger to me. Definitely torn fabric too. The edge of the "tear " is frayed. I could be hallucinating. My adrenaline is whack right now, from a major nerdgasm.

looks more like a mechanism on the side of the suit to me, still looks like the SJ suit a bit BUT the hand that grabs after the "White Worm" definatly looks more like a human glove.

So much to take in!!! I will go ahead and say that this is going to be an iconic movie. The kind that in 30 years people still look to when you mention sci fi/ horror.

I much, much, MUCH prefer the idea of some kind of parasite over a mutant. A parasite would also fit in much better with Alien lore and their modus operandi. This trailer (to me) hints at some kind of parasite, however I realize that mutants and parasites may also be mutually exclusive.

something cool at 40 seconds with shaw we see the pale tentacle from two sides. in the first scene we're facing shaw & the tentacle slithers down & the next scene is of from shaws POV & when it slithers in front of the glass theres a hole or something that looks like an eye, kind of freaky looking
