New Alien 5 concept artwork shows Hicks and Ripley fighting new breeds of Xenomorphs among other exciting scenes!
Earlier this month, we reported on some never-before-seen Alien 5 concept art by Geoffroy Thoorens which showcased some interesting would-be scenes for Neill Blomkpamp's Alien 5. Today, we've discovered that Geoffroy has updated his online gallery with a plethora of new concepts he created for Alien 5 - this time showing even MORE of what we could have potentially expected from the currently-shelved Blomkamp project. Below are over 15 new pieces of concept art, showing Ripley adorning a Smartgun, Hicks fighting for his life, Androids being dissected, Alien suits vs. Queen Xenomorph and a new Alien creature officially dubbed the Trematode. The future of Alien
The Alien franchise is taking a dramatic turn at 20th Century Studios, now owned by Disney. Currently there are two major Alien projects in development - a new Alien TV series by Noah Hawley and a new, stand-alone Alien movie being directed by Fede Alvarez. Both of which will be taking the franchise in a new direction - moving away from the Alien prequel direction Ridley Scott set out to pursue back in 2012.
