This is how it ends... See how it all began. 20th Century Fox have shared a few new images from Alien: Covenant this afternoon ahead of tonight's new sneak peek on FX. The footage which will debut tonight (we believe) will involve a very similar dinner scene to that of Scott's original Alien - with the crew gathered around their table, chatting, discussing the mission, etc... One image in particular is a subtle callback to Alien's dinner scene and was even featured as a homage in Creative Assembly's Alien: Isolation. Check them out:
Be sure to follow the official Alien: Covenant Instagram for more and also be sure to watch Alien-Covenant.com for when the new sneak peek is online! The footage will debut with Legion tonight on FX.

The Alien franchise is taking a dramatic turn at 20th Century Studios, now owned by Disney. Currently there are two major Alien projects in development - a new Alien TV series by Noah Hawley and a new, stand-alone Alien movie being directed by Fede Alvarez. Both of which will be taking the franchise in a new direction - moving away from the Alien prequel direction Ridley Scott set out to pursue back in 2012.

Inside the ship it looks so robust, industrial and claustrophobic, reminiscent to the Nostromo. This movie is a swiss army knife with all kinds of goodies awaiting. I better refill theater popcorn pail after the movie to not miss anything
I don't think it's a reflection of a "Xenomorph." I think it's intention is to show what the human imagination can create through a play of light and shadow. That's my guess anyway
Funny how you mentioned that...After I stared at that picture long enough, I did indeed see the alien in the reflection....Either that or I am hitting the pipe too hard. More to follow.
Also, when looking at that young couple hugging each other, I can't help but feel that there will be some heartbreaking emotional scenes among all the gore and horror.
Hi, I is watching FOX UK, 1st ad break is done, just A Cure For Wellness 30 sec spot. I had a thought, if UK is about 5 hours ahead of Trumpland, surely we won't get AC sneak peek before US?
I will keep watching, Legion is interesting considering its ep 2 and I didn't see ep 1!
The red corridor is reminiscent of Prometheus. When David is walking about the ship and they get the proximity alert with all the red lights flashing. If someone can post a side by side comparison of the two that would be great.
Lol,i would say more, but I've been bashed enough today regarding the president.Still sorry to hear it wasn't there,i hope the show was worth sitting through, because I've sat through shows for a sneak peak that weren't worth it when there wasn't a sneak peak after all.
Every time you see what the crew are looking at through their space helmet, or on the captain's screen when he is looking at what the crew are looking at, there are numbers including three 6s.
wow! the claustrophobic feel of the first alien movie, love it!
about the triple six meme, in alien, when ripley is punching in the destruct sequence the keys on the flip up console have religious words on the buttons, 666 is on one of the buttons.
They are more noticeable on the blu-ray version, i paused it when i noticed it, got close up to the screen to have a look.
@Qubism @ninXeno426 Haha, he should be blamed for everything. And ninXeno I already said this on one of your threads today, don't listen to these people bashing you. It's your right to have your own opinion, who cares what certain people think. Keep up the awesome work dude!
Talking about the original alien film, i came across a gem of an old magazine i did buy after alien came out called Warren Presents Alien Magazine(1979),
It is now archived at archive.org, it has cast, crew, giger, dan'o'bannon interviews, quizzes, trials and tribulations on creating the sets, lots of still shots, some you beaut ads from era now gone but will live in my memory till i depart this earth,
there is also Aliens fanzine there as well, check it out!
What a letdown. That prologue film was bogus. The Alien series is officially dead. Seriously - that trailer came off like an snl parody? Trying to copy all the details from Alien & Aliens isn't the way to make a good Alien film. Seriously disappointed. They should have just given the series to someone young & hungry & with a vision. Cap the budget so they get creative & minimize too many cooks over the pot. Why is it that everything that comes out of Hollywood these days is so over-thought, hokey & artificial? I'd rather see AVP than this mess. And walter is uber annoying. Sorry - but I'm a big fan of where this series was in the first three movies & where it COULD have gone.
@Nostromo79 Don't get too excited. This is only a prologue that may or may not be in the film. I remember when Jurassic World played its first clip on MTV and all the fans were whining like it was the end of the world. Just wait a little longer.
I absolutely loved the prologue. Was in the middle of a movie with some friends and we paused it to stream it on the TV. The choking was a little hokey, sure, but it was funny. I love the conversational dialogue, very similar to the original Alien. Just from that clip, were in store for something way more competent and coherent than Prometheus.
@Not Ryukko - Lol. So last I checked this was a Forum. That means people air their opinions on content. The trailer & now the prologue both, in my opinion, sucked. And Jurassic World was terrible. Lol.
heres just a few stills from i whipped together in a collage, you will have to head over and have a look there is some good stuff. I was 14 when the mag was in the newsagent, you can download it or you can browse it at the site.
I totally disagree, I think that they did a good job. I won’t say that your opinion is crap or that you are dumb because after all it is just a movie and art is subjective.
Two questions:
Why didn’t you like it?
How would you have done that scenes to make it better?
As far as Walter goes I don’t think that some trailers are enough to make a judgement about a character. Wait until you see the movie.
