Derelict and Juggernaut - Searching for the Main Entrance

It's not a huge topic I know, but I've always thought that this is the main entrance on the Engineer ships:

I'm wrong or not, who knows?

I always thought it was here since the crew went in here. Although it may have been an exit. The way they entered in Prometheus still is confusing to me. Your pic definitely looks like it opens, but considering its height, might connect to something? This comes from a human outlook though.

dk - If I'm not mistaken, in Prometheus they used the back door. And they say that the three holes where the Nostromo crew entered the Derelict are not entrances. So, yes, it's a confusing issue.

Its a interesting one, as indeed you can kind of make out what could be doors in the area you have referenced to.

I think HR Gigers idea was the Vaginal Like Openings to be the Entrance,  but Prometheus and then Alien Covenant showed us these must act as some kind of Exhaust/Ventilation System?  And these are located actually at the rear of the Ships.

I have used the image above to show where it appears the main entrance is, and this fits with Dr Shaw running down that long corridor as she was trying to escape from the Juggernaught, this is far to long/large to be inside the Juggernaught (but so is the Egg Silo in the Derelict).

The thing we get with the entrance at the rear, which is actually the front is the position and how the crew of Prometheus progressed to the Pilot Chamber must mean there was no direct route to the Center from the entrance and the routes to the left/right of the Pilot Chamber, will lead around through the Cargo Holds and Join up at the entrance, which is a very odd design but appears to be the actual design of the ship.

Indeed there are others too which seem to imply each Hanger holds ONE Juggernaught, but this does not rule out each Outpost/Temple complex having more than ONE Hanger.

Alien Covenant we have a similar sized Hanger, but the Concepts and Deleted Scenes reveal these are holding at least 3 more Juggernaughts.... they did not make it into the Movie and i think thats a great idea as it means the Hanger Layout we can now ASSUME is similar to those in Prometheus.

It also helps to make more sense to WHY David could not leave Planet 4, and also paints a picture of Planet 4 being more in line with the theory i have.
