AVATAR
What an incredible waste of time, money and resources. A massive ego trip, which would have been better served as a CGI cartoon series!
"Let The Cosmic Incubation Begin" ~ H.R. Giger

Lone Long time- no see!.Thanks for the WARNO. I still have not seen Crapatar and have no intention in wasting time doing so.

Hi dk :)
Hahahah, please don't waste your precious time on it!
"Let The Cosmic Incubation Begin" ~ H.R. Giger

I will sadly admit to seeing Avatar 4 times at the cinema in 3D, the visuals sucked me in.
I humbly apologise, I have seen the errors of my way XD

IRaptus We understand getting caught up in the 3d hype.
The penance is tuning into MST3K and watching perhaps the worst movie ever made: Manos- The Hands of Fate. The crew's heckling helps the bitter pill go down ;)

Manos- The Hands of Fate? Have not seen or even heard of it. A quick google search showed much much hate lol....something about a polygamous satanic cult?? o_0
Did you ever see the film adaptation of Alone in the dark?! Holy Hell! that was the only film I have ever rated a 1.
I think they spent all their budget on the awesome metal soundtrack

Alien vs predator requiem.

Please classify Eyes Wide Shut as science fiction so I can unwatch it.

Does Stephen King's 'Dream Catcher'.....anal-burrowing aliens...WTH!?!?!

@dk - Yes, Jar Jar ruined me ever wanting to see any of the prequels more than once!!

Guardians vol 2 - kinda a kiddie twist with random really NOT kiddie parts...
The Mummy
Judge Dredd
Flash Gordon
SW Force Awakens, E1, EVI
Dagon
Anything Percy Jackson...
I could go on forever! Most people suck at sci fi! Would be interesting to flip the question - what are the best? Two parts to sci fi and it is an equation! Need action grounded in science/tech and a good fictional story. Anyone can make a fictional story with no scientific rules applied and just get artsy nonsense.

I wish I could un-watch everything the Wachowski brothers did post Matrix, including "Speedracer", "Cloud Atlas" and "Jupiter Rising".
Spearfish I don't remember "Dagon" being that bad for a B movie.

Joylitt you must grade (B) on a curve. :-). It's been a while, but when he set himself on fire then swam around with squid lady I actually questioned what I was doing with my life. Agree with you on the W brothers...

Prometheus and approx the second half of A:C
Michael Bay's: Transformers (one was enough for me)
Matrix: Reloaded and Revolutions
Interstellar
Elysium
Chappie
Avatar (well, sort of. I remember enjoying it at the theatre but I wouldn't rewatch it)

IRaptus V for Vendetta is the exception. But they just wrote that.

Neomorph Elysium to me is a mixed bag. But I agree on Chappie. But Interstellar? I didn't love it but I can rewatch for sure even though I always find the same problems.

Real Steel - good grief that was bad.
Narnia - if you are given a bow and arrow, use it! That girl drove me crazy.

Elysium was a letdown for me. While it had an interesting premise and a showcase of Copley's acting range (probably thanks to the close relationship with Blomkamp similarly to Sam Jackson+Tarantino=good acting) - it's also a showcase of firearms, particle effects in slow motion, robots and gangster stereotypes, when I wished that the story was a bit more compelling with less emphasis on above mentioned aspects.
District 9, despite a similar formula however, got to me a bit more effectively with a moderate dose of sentimentality with believable Copley and aliens that I felt compassion for.
Speaking of sentimentality, Interstellar went way, way, WAY overboard with all too obvious and way too many tear-jerking baits mashed into one singular film. Sorry Nolan, not gonna fall for that s*** (respectfully)

Yes, for me "Interstellar" was way too "new agey" for a film advertised as having a strong grasp on science. In fact this movie confirms to me that many contemporary scientists are taking science dangerously close to religion. However there is one point of Interstellar that appeals to me, and is the idea of a virtually unlimited evolution of the human mind. In the field of speculative science that is to me as fascinating as the aliens.

Interstellar - Loved TARS and CASE. Awesome design and banter.

Alien
Aliens
Alien3
Alien:Resurrection
Then watch them right after I watched Prometheus and Alien:Covenant.
Would be so cool to watch them with fresh eyes.
Wondering what the hell happened to the Engineers or David!?!

Some one already said AVPR so I guess I'll go with Battlefield Earth

DK - Babylon AD and Interstellar are two Scienc Fiction films which I wish I could remove from my mind! As an aside, I am guilty of loving Avatar! It is my love of romance and the natural world which keeps me enthralled by the film! Please, be gentle with me! *Cringes*

Something Real its ok I forgive you. I also apologised for a similar secret enjoyment of that film....
Im Durp Battlefield Earth. Bloody Hell! How did that become a thing?! Awful.
Im going to agree with The Force Awakens. crap film.
I don't get the Interstellar hate. It wasn't the best, but I wouldnt wish to unsee it by any means.
