If I remember correctly, sherris mentioned in one of the threads that small eggs can be seen on the table in David's lab suggesting that the small facehugger embryos (revealed by David at the end of the movie) are from those alien eggs.

Those definitely look like the same shape and saze as a chicken, or goose egg. Interesting if that's where the eggs originated from, a mutated chicken like creature lol.

One of HR Gigers Early Chest Buster Designs, well it appears to be a homage to the Chicken Buster.

 I do think there are a number of Easter Eggs to the Franchise and Concept works of previous movies and its great they are using some as Davids Experiments.

Could the fact that David took the small facehuggers on Covenant mean that he cannot replicate them himself? Were they created by Engineers and David found them and started experimenting with them?  It would have been more practical to take an ampoule of the pathogen and with all the scientific means fitted on Covenant he could have perfected his creations. Or the future script is as cheap as facehugging Daniels and make a giant ant queen of her so she could lay as many as 2000 eggs?

I enhanced the 'chicken' eggs eggs a bit.

If that chicken has been chest bursted, that confirms the chicken did NOT come before the egg :)

So are we thinking that when this creature was "evolved" it was taken from a small parasite then slowly built up by cross breeding or hybridising ? (he called it) 

So each time the creature and therefore the egg increases in size ????

Or any theories guys ????
