Please do not name actors and actresses who are already belong to the world of the movies.

The focus is not only on main characters, and you can name more favourites as well.

As for me, I would be happy to see Juliette Binoche, Rooney Mara, Olga Kurylenko, Tom Hiddleston, Theo James, and Alex Pettyfer in the Alien movies to come.

Something Real - I think your dream won't come true since he joined Cameron's blue universe. :) But there will be at least four new Avatar movies, so no problemo. :)

Oh man, one of my favorite past times is imagining my favorite/preferred actors/actresses in an Alien movie! My current list mostly comes from my favorite shows and movies, but here it is:

I can't really think of anyone else at the moemnt... I don't really pay much attention to actors to be hoenst! I know lots of names and who I like or not if they are brought up, but I don't really think of them outside of when watching the films they are in, you know? 

So, I'm not totally sure how these actors would be in Ridley's next installment [although someone to truly rival Fassbender would be nice, as some have mentioned here, specifically IRaptus :) would be nice,] but my wish came true when Franco (sort of) was in Covenant, so I would LOVE to see any of the people I mentioned star or have a supporting role in a future Alien film!

Yes i definitely can see Ridley Scott go this route.

I think he will be just the Perfect Size by the time we do 2-3 more Sequels....  Taking account the Normality of Space Jockey/Engineer Size reduction per Movie.

Being Serious though i agree Peter Capaldi could make a Good Corporate Type Character.

Laura Prepon looks a bit Robotic she would do for a Female Synthetic.

Jeremy Sheffield i think could play a really Good Android, he is very good at playing the Emotionless yet evil kind of Character.

Maybe if they went the whole Alien 5 route.. i did mention this before... but Ronda Rousey does look very similar to Carrie Henn both as a Child and as a Adult

I would even say RR looks more like a Grown up Newt than Carrie Henn does LOL as Carrie has lost that mark under her Eye.

Hey if RS/FOX want to pass the Torch onto Newt as the Next Xenomorph Kicking Heroine... well Rhonda fits that role.. but then she is a unknown as far as Acting as she has not had much of a career but then RS is known to give people Big Breaks ;)

BigDave I have no preference on actors as long as they do a good job. As far as your post regarding size, it could be a great idea to use smaller folks or kids as Sir Scott did in Alien and was done in the Star Trek reboot.

I've been hashing out my own Alien story and these two come to mind as characters:

No A list, meaning Academy Award winning or nominee or Golden Globe winning or nominee, actor or actress is going to touch this franchise with a ten foot pole right now. Sorry to be blunt, I don't even think if Fassbender had not been in Prometheus before Covenant that he would even do it now. Yes Bichir has been nominated for an Academy Award and Fassbender multiple times and Franco, he really isn't even in the movie, but nobody else in Covenant is really a big name. Crudup, Waterston and McBride I'm sure most people have heard that know movies but I'm just saying not big names to the general public. They would have to get a cast for any future Alien movie, unless they go the Ripley route, similar to Covenant but minus the couple bigger names except Fassbender and returning cast members like Waterston and McBride if they even came back. Because this franchise isn't what it once was. I know I am missing the point of this topic but I'm just saying alot of things need to change, and maybe are, to get this franchise back to where it was. Hire a really great film director, sorry Ridley you just don't got it anymore, and great writers and you will get an A list cast. But does any really great film director even want a gig like this now with this franchise the way it is? Maybe it's just better for it to end?
