Infographic Attempts to Break Down Xenobiology from ‘Prometheus’ Through ‘Aliens’6,450 Views6 RepliesAdd A Reply
I feel this deserves a comment, for effort in linking it.
Indeed i have seen this before its a nice attempt and pretty much shows what Prometheus does.. and it was a speculative approach to how it connects to Alien and the Queen.
I was always inclined to think the Xenomorph was a Ancient Event and one that most likely either was related to the Experiments conducted on a related Life-Form that when they was pleased with the results they Seeded its DNA via Sacrificial Goo to make the Black Goo.
Or that the Xenomorph was the result of a Black Goo Outbreak and Hammerpede Infection...
The Queen i felt was the logical result of a Egg Morph.

how is the hammerpede linked to all of this again?

Yes, I like the sounds of this scenario. It's more **** than the concept that humans or their androids created it.
I think Deacon becoming Queen is some wierd fluting to say the least
That old chart needs some serious updating. The hammerpede was the result of the worms on the floor of the head chamber being mutated by the pathogen, not the worm that was in Holloway's eye after he was infected, but they show it linked.
The chart should really start with the black pathogen, and then show several branches off from that.
3 billion years might be out as well it would be hard to not change for that long. Realistically a lot less i reckon. But i did here 150 million years mentioned by Ridley as to time inbetween the flat ufo type shipand the juggernaut which sounds off... hard to know like Dave says as well were they just adding DNA to other life or actually starting it. Planets are really not good even for an engineer before life takes hold...
