It's called Scorn and it looks really amazing.

I posted a full editorial with details about gameplay here: Scorn a first person horror-adventure game inspired by the artwork of H.R Giger.

iv seen the youtube trailer and it screams giger all oer it. wouldn't be out of place if it was added to the alien universe in some way

Wonder if the estate of H.R. Giger will sue over this?

NeomorphMember1823 XPJun-13-2017 10:23 AM

depends on cir***stances. if the creator took inspiration from past giger work then they have no case but if he has used his work without permission then yes.

The style slightly different as are the colors. Don't know how Giger's death (RIP Rudi) plays into copyrights etc.

As for the artist behind it (Filip Acovic) he could be a "worthy successor" beside Gutalin.

Eine Theorie die nicht auf Etwas solidem basiert ist für gewöhnlich nur Geschwätz.

The developers did say the game was inspired by H.R. Giger, Zdislaw Beksinski and other artists but they tried to make it their own style, experience.

Damn this looks so good, I hope there is really a game from it.

This is totally what I want to see for a Alien prequel

NeomorphMember1823 XPJun-13-2017 11:10 AM

yes its a game but nothing connected to alien unfortunately

ChestbursterMember907 XPJun-13-2017 11:55 AM

Yah, been following this games' development for quite awhile. Every weapon is "grown" and is a living thing. Very sick and slick. It looks beautiful, but I'm not sure how the actual gameplay is going to work out...
