Forgetting about reviews and box office, if you enjoyed "Covenant" and are willing to talk about it, what are your thoughts about David's statement and the way he acted towards Daniels just after he said that?
Please, notice that I actually don't remember if he said those exact words, but the meaning remains the same :)

ERROR! ERROR! MALFUNCTION!
Robot goes mad. Very cheesy over the top breakdown mode. I was hoping David's motives and intentions would be more developed than sneering sinister in the third act. But alas. Camp with the exuberance replaced by dreary high concept pretense.

Bump.
"What did you do to Shaw?"
"The same thing that I'm going to do to YOU!"
Tbh, that whole scene was surprising and a bit thrilling. I was expecting David to try and choke Daniels, not try to kiss her. o_O
Whether or not he meant anything else, I do think David was using his kiss partly as a mark: he kissed Walter and then killed/hijacked him, and then he kissed Daniels, to whom he'd insinuated he'd more or less do the same thing.*
Seeing it as a "kiss of death" makes the plot twist at the end of the movie that much more terrifying, especially from Daniels' point of view.
(*I'll have to re-watch the movie again, as my memory of the exact scene is fuzzy.)

The kiss of Judas the betrayer
Is there an agenda the mods are not telling us about? ;)

yes from what I took from the attempt to kiss her then the ending where he regurgitates the embryo, im assuming he kiss shaw and laid an egg inside her.
