
Good point! I know I've seen (and bought) a hefty amount for A:C and I don't recall much of anything for Prometheus.

I have no idea, but I can't imagine the merchandise sales were too high. Being an R-rated movie it didn't have much for the average casual to nonfan.

It seems safe to assume that Alien merch helped in over all as does Star Wars as opposed to newer films like Life.
