Welcome back oduodu ;)

Nice Topic.... and i think there are a number of scenes that may or may not make it onto the DVD Extras, a number of scenes seemed to be trimmed down that effected the pace of the movie but was needed to get the movie down to 2 hours.

There are alternative scenes that was re-shot it will be interesting to see which ones..

And there are a few scenes that never made the movie...

Franco's Branson and Daniels in their New York Apartment where they discus their future and a Log Cabin on a Lake... this scene is supposed to have a bit of a Blade Runner Feel to it

And will be on the DVD Extras

@BigDave,

I have always wondered if an uncut Prometheus will come about?  I am a bit surprised that that has not happened yet.

Ridley Scott has confirmed there will be no other cuts of Prometheus... maybe this will change once he has finished his Prequels?

To tie up lose ends due to how they seem to be changing the Plot as they go along, but i doubt it.

Maybe a few deleted scenes could be added but they would extend the movie time, but scenes like the Elder Engineers would be left out so as to not effect the Mystery around them.

The Finding of the first Alien (Larger like Centipede Worm) and finding the Shredded Skin of the Hamerpede will likely never be added.

The extended Engineer one never as it conflicts with the way Ridley wanted to portray the Engineers.

But the extra scenes that had not shown Black Goo related events or Engineer ones.. i think could make a extended cut, but i dont think we will ever see one.

@Davefried81,

I think there are 2 important deleted scenes from Prometheus, if I find them in good qualities, I will put them her ;)

Thier is also the scene of the alien jumping around the red corridor , it is in the trailers but it did not make the final cut.

I think a lot of scenes were cut in the film after the second half considering how faced passed the second half of the film is, especially the last third of the movie when the xenomorph shows up.

I did feel the Exno on the ship part felt rushed a bit. I guess they had to cut down to fit the movie in the time frame plus they could track the alien this time so I guess it works out. Also maybe Scott felt it was too much retreading. I did enjoy the alien stuff on the planet. Kind of been there and done that with the alien in small cooridoors.
