Seven Dreamers
MemberOvomorphMay-11-2017 3:06 PMHello All,
I've been desperately trying to avoid all things AC this last week since the AC London premiere beamed live on Facebook and tomorrow at 12:40 (GMT) I'm finally going to see the next part of my lifelong love of the Alien.
I remember having excited converations with other Alien fans just before the Prometheus release on this great site and feel full of the same sense of anticipation.
Let's all just appreciate and be thankful to the great Sir Ridley and his gift to us all of the greatest Sci-Fi horror story in cinematic history.

MemberChestbursterMay-11-2017 4:24 PMHi David,
I noticed in the cinema tonight a lot of talk about the set piece "horror' and heard several people say it was to slow.
I thought it started well and had a really good pace taking its time but once we moved into the connective tissue of the film from the derelict onwards to the escape I was very underwhelmed and as I have said elsewhere made no sense of the David/Shaw arc. David appeared to be growing emotionally but everything in Covenant was mad psychopathy and to give the films twists became predictable in his unpredictability. The escape to the end was terribly formulaic.
Routine space thriller is my verdict. So who are the Engineers the guys that made the pathogen is that it ?
