The Independent (UK) Review

This review is very optimistic, and I hope to leave the theatre feeling the same. 

Me too, I have high hopes, but we all know it's not Shakespeare or the Bible!  I hope it's fun, scary, thought provoking and beautiful to look at.

I love this review

I don't have high expectations in the sense that this supposedly is a more straightforward horror film that pays tribute to the classic Alien films. 

However, apart from the obvious (stunning visuals, Fassbender, gore,) I do expect better writing, dialogue and more believable characters and smarter actions this time.

Looking back at Prometheus, some of the moments really stood out as unforgivably and undeniably stupid, silly and just plain bad. 

The independent is a pretty reliable rag in the U.K.

Well-written and quite promising. Cannot wait!

I've been impressed by most of the reviews so far. A few whiney ones from fanboyish sites, but for the most part they've been consistently good. I hope I think as highly of it when I see it.
