PraetorianMember3073 XPMay-03-2017 1:26 AMI don't know about you guys but I'm finding more and more I'm caring less and less about anything that isn't called Alien.For example my sister asked what I was doing for Stars Wars day and I sorta drew a blank,my reaction was more or less I had forgotten about Star Wars day and didn't care to celebrate it either,The reason being It's not Alien.Alien has always been an obsession and has recently become a fever pitch.How many of have forsaken anything that isn't Alien or Alien related?

But right now I am just focusing anything Alien-wise, reading the novels, re-watching the Alien anthology, making-of stuffs, playing Alien Isolation again, going to this forum, etc. I just wish I had more time.

Yes, my life is focused completely on ALIEN: COVENANT right now. I feel like a little kid awaiting a longed-for birthday present. I check this site incessantly, I've all-but-abandoned my Facebook account (not that I'm missing much), and I've even had dreams about seeing COVENANT at the theater.
Glad to see I'm not the only one who's a bit obsessed.
That being said, I really have no idea what I'm going to do with myself once I've seen COVENANT. I mean, yes, we'll have tons of stuff to analyze and geek out over on this site, but alas AWAKENING is probably two years away, and the end of a long spell of anticipation is always a bit of a downer.
Ah well, c'est la vie! I can't wait for COVENANT!

Waiting for additional installments to Prometheus has made me feel like I have been awakened from a long boring sleep! I have not even bothered to see Rouge One, MEH! The other day I heard a couple talking about this month's movie premieres and they were mentioning all but Covenant. I wanted to intervene and tell them the one that matters the most :D Also wanting to grab everyone I know by the collar/shoulders, shake them and tell them about this epic event...(no one is really aware of it, apart from my dad).
I was looking on a menu recently and instead of 'cheeseburger', I read 'chestburster'. I saw an abstract sculpture and what stood out to me were the fingers of a facehugger...
Just a little over a week left...

I cant tell u how many times i died in alien isolation just trying to get a good look at the xeno doing his thing

I think it's pretty natural if it's something you're passionate about. Also, Alien trumps Star Wars normally, let alone when a major Alien film is about to release :)

never say never...ALIEN: isolation may yet get a continuance, things are always changing as we all know and ALIEN: Covenant is likely to make them reconsider.
