Ark of the covenant connection.POTENTIAL SPOILER

Hi.

Alot has been said here about the meaning of the movie title and the ship.

However, some religious and esoteric aspects have been absent here.

We can safely say that the covenant is a reference to the ark of the covenant...just check the crew logo on their uniforms: it features the couple of cherubim that were on top of the ark of the covenant.

While some of the israelites had seen the ark while wandering in the desert on their way back from egyptian slavery, the content of the ark was shown only to a selected few(Moses, Aharon and some priests).

The content was known to be at least the following: the tablets of the law, moses rod, some manna.

Were i am getting is that the content of the ark guarded by a couple of cherubim is an enclosed secret and that's probably how Riddley take on that matter.

In other words, the covenant which is a ship of couples(cherubim) meant to colonize remote inhabitable planets...but actually there's a secret here...the couples also guard their embryos in the ship just like in the ark.

It is well hinted by Tennesse fantastic act in the realesed message/broadcast to his little brother.

Notice how he feels when he mentions his brother's boys will grow up(while his are probably on the ship in a state of cryo).

What do you guys think?
