May 12th or 19th?

IMDB and Fox still have AC being released on the 19th but everywhere else on the 12th?  I swore I heard in the Alien Day - LIVE event that it was being released globally on the 12th.  So now that has me confused.  Are they releasing a week early now or still keeping with the 19th North American Release Date.

Well, I'm still thinking they'll stick with the previous release dates.
However, the hunger for the movie IS building very high, so there IS the possibility they'll pull-trigger on release a bit early to catch the peak of it.

20th Century Fox website still says May 19th..So us Americans have to wait till the early preview showings on the 18th. I already have my ticket but I'm hoping our admin Chris can alleviate the suffering of waiting three weeks and when the review embargo lifts on the 6th of May maybe he'll post something great and really spoilerish...

I am going to a 10th May Preview, which is the Earliest General Public English Language Release,  but there are 4th and 5th May Screenings for not-so general public.

Also I only see 2D so defo no 3D?

In Germany the movie will start on the 17th as pre premiere and regular on the 18th. In France the movie will start officially on the 10th and pre premiere will be on the 9th. 
And it seems that the movie will only be shown in 2D as far as i could figure out.

@joylitt actually I`m from Luxembourg but I can speak, read and understand french. I haven`t found anything yet, but soon as I find something I`m gonna post it here translated.

The only thing I could find out is the duration of the movie. Its listed with 2hrs02min.

Hi everyone! First posting for me.  I can confirm that here in the UK its 12th may.  You can book tickets now (for Odeon cinemas, not sure about others), which I've done already (and got my t shirt ready aswell).  For you super geeks the first showing is 1 minute past midnight. Enjoy!
