Lots of choices but you only get one! I guess I would have to choose Ripley from Aliens:
"You know, Burke, I don't know which species is worse. You don't see them ****ing each other over for a goddamn percentage. " Sorry for the F bomb Chris, but it is a quote.
Care to weigh in?

"Stop your grinning and drop your linen....found em"-Hudson Aliens

Grinning & Dropping Linen I thought you probably liked that quote for some strange reason ;)

Ash: "I admire its purity. A survivor... unclouded by conscience, remorse, or delusions of morality."
IN SPACE THERE IS NO WARNING

Ash-I can't lie about your chances....you have my sympathies
Nothing the God of biomechanics wouldn't let you in heaven for

TY! I've always loved that quote, it sums the Alien up so chillingly. :)
IN SPACE THERE IS NO WARNING

Blackwinter-witch Agreed. I think Ripley's quote summed up the crux of the Company's agenda vs Humanity's protest of being sold out in general. A quote that can encompass politics, theology and ethics.

I agree totally with you about Ripley's quote!! I love how she compares Humans to Aliens and manages to make us sound worse :)
IN SPACE THERE IS NO WARNING

@BWW - That too, is my favorite. It's so hard to pick one, and after a good watching marathon I will probably pick another favorite, lol.

Why? Why are the innocent punished? Why the sacrifice? Why the pain? There aren't any promises. Nothing certain. Only that some get called, some get saved. She won't ever know the hardship and grief for those of us left behind. We commit these bodies to the void with a glad heart. For within each seed, there is a promise of a flower, and within each death, no matter how small, there's always a new life. A new beginning. Amen.
- Dillon's Prayer

There's a pretty decent number to choose, and there's nothing stating two people cannot share a common favorite. :)
IN SPACE THERE IS NO WARNING

Here's one from ALIEN 4
"Want another souvenier?"
IN SPACE THERE IS NO WARNING

I reckon Alien 3 has some of the best quotes that sum up the Alienverse

Yeah, true. And it did have some really well-developed characters.
IN SPACE THERE IS NO WARNING

BWW- that is TWO quotes! *kicks dirt around and yells at clouds*

Love it in ALIEN when Parker and Brett are fixing things on Nostromo and Brett says something like "Nah, shouldn't have landed on this damn ball" Cracks me up every time :)
"Kane's son"

Sorry, my bad, got too caught up in things, forgot the rules. Human Error 404 (Brain Not Found) :D
If you want I can delete the post?
IN SPACE THERE IS NO WARNING

Please do!! :D
It just popped into my head, but it does sum up more than a few of the things we Humans do. :)
Glad to know all's good :)
IN SPACE THERE IS NO WARNING

Ripley: Did IQ's just drop sharply while I was away?
Has to be my favorite
What's the story, MUTHUR?

BWW
"I admire its purity. A survivor... unclouded by conscience, remorse, or delusions of morality."
this quote is haunting and very informative while being mysterious at the same time....it tells us this things is something beyond our comprehension and understanding and contains such a foreboding message without actually saying it. That this creature is the embodiment of death..but yet hints at so much more, leaving the audience to want and desire to know or understand what this thing is and where it came from etc
one of the outstanding quotes in any film IMO

"It's game over, man. Game over!" -Private Hudson
“Banana oil.”- George Takei, Gigantis: The Fire Monster

Hudson to Vasquez in Aliens.
Hudson...."Hey Vasquez, how you ever been mistaken for a man"?......Vasquez......"No! Have you"??? Great burn. Lol

It's what we like to call a shake n bake colony. Do you mind?
