Could his confrontation with David be the crescendo?

also it might Look as if Time Travel might be possible or confirmed...would explain Alien Awakening that Ridley Spoke of.

The capabilities of the derelict ship. If you watch how it went weed into the atmosphere right out of jump speed, it is possible that they have that ability. It was also rumored...not sure about the source...

Sure does. Perhaps David has other intentions that we do not see.

Correction, the Neo attack on Walter was from the 15 mins of footage from way back.

I feel this is leading to a synthetic showdown, which for me will be perfect

That will be interesting to see two androids duke it out unless David does something you Walter to gain his trust.

First i will reply that indeed we dont know what the Juggernaughts can do but i would think if they could time travel then why is Mankind still alive as surely the Engineers could undo what they had done... provide at least some Survived who intended the same outcome for us.

Have to assume this may not be the case and the only one left with those intentions was the Last Engineer who simply has been in Cryo-sleep for 2000 years.

As far as Alien Awakens it could be that the movie to some degree (Flash Backs) will be set in the past prior to Alien Covenant.
