I grabbed a couple of shots of the end of the international trailer just released and compared the shots of space to Dr. Shaw's notes below.

Can anyone confirm anything in the above space image?

Looks like Asia...Japan Korea Kamchatka

Dr. Shaw's notes, reverse values.

I see what you mean Slab_bay. The interstellar clouds resemble a map of Asia.

Inquisitor Fifield, I adore you.

I can't quit laughing on my way back to the temple.

I really do appreciate the previous post and I will concentrate on my response for a while in the analysis chambers.

Ingeni, that image is shouting for a click on the 'report', beyond doubt.

I'm literally shaking right now

the connected dots (stars) were all already there hehe

PraetorianMember3381 XPMar-17-2017 1:46 PM

Oh no, Ati. The image in question has legitimacy here among hospitable opinions and otherwise in debate. Thank you though. I will address it upon emerging from the temple.

PraetorianMember3378 XPMar-17-2017 1:50 PM

Ingeni, I did not want to add a :), because I see how important that image is for Fifield - he is shaking from the joy.

Ingeni, what is the point in this post? :D

But wouldnt the dick star system just right fit in with your "David is Weylands gay lovebot" theory thread ?

PraetorianMember3378 XPMar-17-2017 1:58 PM

Thank you for advertising. It is a popular thread. :)

It's fantastic how your English language usage has improved to close to perfect, Fifield. Or should I call you dr.swojd? :)

I have to go now but don't give up! :)

Doctor who

well even the most perfect english cant compensate a missing or downright irrational sense in a topic, aka any of your threads and ideas ever Dr.Strange

I was thinking 'Id'.....

PraetorianMember3378 XPMar-17-2017 5:12 PM

MuzzleNZ, some weeks ago Fifield mentioned in one of his first comments that his English is poor. And yes, there were some errors but it was OK. Looking at his latest comments, we should say that his English is perfect, that's why I wrote that he had improved a lot. :) I wanted to be positive but he did not understand, I think.

I think its going to be hard to work out where this is, as it may be created not taking actual Stars into consideration... the whole Prometheus Briefing where Holloway got out his Hologram Cube thingy was not accurate either.

A number of people speculate this is the Zeta 2 System but i find many many flaws with that.

I tried to connect the dots and i can kind of connect a few constellations that intersect using the same stars though, so i guess if we play dot to dot we could match up a number of systems and constellations but we cant be sure if we are even close.

Maybe someone who is more of a Professional Astronomer may be able to figure it out..

But it depends where this shot in the movie is from.... if its from the camera view point say 10, 20, 30 or 50 LY away then it also depends which direction in space the camera is pointing then the Stars would look totally different to how they would viewed from Earth.
