MemberTrilobiteJan-25-2017 8:41 PMThe Borg assimilates different species to make a collective of all. Throwing a Xenomrph in that mix would really make resistance futile.

MemberPraetorianJan-25-2017 8:44 PMYou know the Borg queen always did have an alien vibe about her.

MemberOvomorphJan-25-2017 8:54 PMAre we really milking our imaginations to jam star trek into alien?

MemberPraetorianJan-25-2017 8:58 PMWhy not?

MemberNeomorphJan-26-2017 12:57 PMdoubt it would be a possibility but makes for an interesting concept. think the nanos would be dissolved though
id. if u have nothing constructive to contribute, why don't u just go and have a chug at the lambert scene in alien? u did say it turned u on

MemberPraetorianJan-26-2017 1:08 PMThat's an excellent question.Half machine half xeno. They would likely use assimilation as a means to replace facehuggers.

Unknown. I was just milking my imagination as another astute poster stated.

MemberOvomorphJan-26-2017 1:13 PMooooo don't get me excited! I have constructive things to say. I REALLY DO! hows this?
I thought the borg queen was dumb. it was a rip off of the fact that aliens had a queen. the borg were so much cooler without a leader. mix borg with alien? You get something like those fancy pictures of aliens wearing computer googles that someone made for the other alien movie thats coming out.
didnt star trek have an episode of voyager where the borg tried to assimilate some preying mantis alien but instead the borg were killed by something in its body?
ali81
MemberNeomorphJan-26-2017 1:16 PMborg queen made sense, brought order. yea the species had something in theyr blood that prevented theyr assimilation
Id
MemberOvomorphJan-26-2017 2:50 PMno way. we had a ton or borg in star trek next gen without any talk of a leader. the idea of a queen messes up the collective idea. thats what made the borg so good. a true collective. each borg contained the collective in them and at the same time was just a part of it

MemberTrilobiteJan-26-2017 2:52 PMI think ali81 was referring to the movies where there was a queen.

MemberNeomorphJan-26-2017 2:57 PMthe concept of the borg queen was added as like a central processor to give the drones functions to do, much like say ur phone using wifi or blutooth to control several remote controlled helicopters or cars at the same time. im sure many ST fans were asking the question of theyr hierarchy much the same as we do with the xeno and the engineers.

MemberOvomorphJan-26-2017 2:58 PMyup thats the one. where data had feelings. data was that movies redeemer. the borg queen thing pretty much took a steamer on the borg as we got them in the show. bad deal all the way
