Neomorph vs Primal Xenomorph? (Speculation)

First od all hello to everybody. I am New to this forum, however i was constantly visiting this site for news :) 

I am not sure if somebody already thought about this like in the subject.

Have you ever wondered if we get to see a battle between those two species in the movie Alien Covenant?

What I am trying to Point out is that both species are diffrent although have common characteristics (parasite, bursting, possibly acid for blood?) but are coming from diffrent places. Spores/eggs etc. 

Do you think they will rather feel like kindred spirits? Or hostile organisms toward each other? 

What are your thoughts? :)

Even slight genetic differences can cause two species to scrap. They'll probably have a pretty rowdy go. My money's on the classic Xenos.

If Neomorphs and the classic xenos come face to face and fight,I have no idea for who shoud I vote.

Classic xenos appear more intelligent and biomechanical in appearance while the neomorphs according to the official description,are more animal like in behaviour and are really agressive.

Still we know little about the neomorphs,we will have to wait until the movie is out.

My Money is on the Xeno too. I Wonder if they will encounter each other in the movie. Because basically they should. What will na the encounter like? If the Neomorph is more aggresive it is highly possible it will not tolerate the Xenomorph too.

If they do meet, it'll be interesting to see how they interact, I hope there's some strange scene of "bonding" you know? Something to add to the Xenomorph lore. 

I just hope its nothing as simplistic as the end of Jurassic World lol.

@Facehuggers! - That is exactly what i have in mind. I am more curious about how they react. And i definetly do not want to see a simplistic combat scene like from AvP...

 I don't know. Does the neo have molecular acid blood? And pure bestial rage combined with brute force, reflexes, and killer instincts can undo cunning in an instant. In nature, my money goes on the one who hits the hardest, the fastest. whichever one blinks first or shows its belly might very well lose. I'm thinking about the newborn ripping the Queens head off in Resurrection I believe, good question. Unless someone talks me out of it maybe they are equally strong or the neo, being primitive has an advantage. Xeno's chitinous armor doesn't seem the toughest, I'm going with the neomorph based upon it being more fierce.

Well the Neo to me seems to be more "organic" so technically it would be possible for it to get facehugged. However it would be grotesque at least...

Karstenphd - That is a point + I would add that the Neo will probably have more numbers.

I really have no idea how will the encounter of those two end, however what I do know it will be interesting.

Or not on the other hand. There is also the option that Scott does not intend to show us a meeting between those two.

The XENOMORPH is genetically engineered for COMBAT and as a biological weapon for warfare in the universe. Pretty strong thing. 

The NEOMORPH is the original XENO. Spaiths, the original writer for Prometheus said that. And that the XENO is build engineered as a weapon. We will se the NEOMORPH in Covenant, and Spaiths said that besides being white, more animalistic and had the possibility to squeeze itself through small places as a octopus, it was "MONSTROUSLY STRONG". 

But, I PICK THE XENO because thats a modified version build exactly for what you asked for.

Depends what way we can answer this Question...

If its a Monster vs Monster Fight..

First it depends what kind of Xeno are we getting, would they be similar to Aliens.. or more tougher?

Second we dont know nothing really about the Neomorph, how big it would grow etc.. but it seems its more Organic and so the Neomorph would lack the Armour of a Xenomorph.. this does not mean a Win for the Xenomorph... as it could be like saying ok... does a Rhino or Crocodile fair better against a Lion or Bull.

Until we have seen more of the Neomorph (if that is the correct term) its hard to tell... if its based off the unused Watts (Shaw) C-Section Alien... then indeed it was just as powerful and deadly as a Xenomorph on Offense.. Defense  wise who knows... does it have Acid Blood, is it faster or larger?

Fun to speculate though...

As far as the Prefect Organism... it depends on how it (Neomorph) adapts to its environment and Procreations compared to the Xenomorph.  

We have to remember how Basic Ants and ****roaches are but they have been around for Longer than Mammals and no doubt when Mankind is gone.. the Big Cats (Lions and Tigers) and Sea Predators like Killer Wales and Sharks.....

You can bet Ants and ****roaches will still be around.

id say the neo if it is more aggressive.history shows the more aggressive species dominates and u only have to look at our own species history for that.without offending anyone as this not my intention but im using it to get my point across as best I can, white man enslaved our African cousins as we were the more aggressive. white man is genetically smaller physically (IMO) but much more aggressive and white man is arguably been the dominant 'species' if u will on earth. this said a one on one scrap is hard to call esp if the xeno is indeed more armoured than the neo.but I would def say neither of them would tolerate the other as they will be territorial towards other species

Wait I have an idea, the neomorph will be an the apex predator fiercer and stronger than the xeno but as most of his type very individualistic in nature, not concerned by anything but the hunt and personal survival. So even though he is stronger as an individual, the xenos have the advantage of working together toward a hive structure, therefore stronger as a group. In the middle humans are a primary resource, strictly a nutrient for mr neo but for xenos they are also instinctively sought for "breeding" purposes. To wrap this all up you could say that humans although they seems weaker and helpless in a sense when you put them all side by side, They are also the specie that benefit from both of those traits (resilient individuals and social in nature, which makes them far more evolved on the longer term development.) and that will be enough for at least one of them to pull through and turn the game around. Voilà! :-) If the film finds a way around that, I would really be pleased coz I love nothing more than to be blown away from my conceptions.

As others have stated, it's really a toss-up between the two. At no point do I see the two Aliens collaborating or getting along. They are different enough that they would resent each other and fight for the same territory. 

The Protomorph (as it really is) does seem to have more armor than the Neomorphs. It also seems to be larger. It's aggression may not match that of the Neomorph but it's durability and improved strength might give it the advantage one on one. However against more than one Neomorph I don't see the Protomorph winning. 

What would really be epic is to see a fully grown Deacon take on the Protomorph. That would be epic.

Yes. We need a "Alien Fight Club" started on this forum...maybe even get the matches computer simulated..

We could start off small, like say, the burnt corpse of Ash vs. the Hammerpede..

We could then move on to more productive fights like Damon Lindelof armed with a butter knife versus the Deacon...

All kinds of opportunities here..

There was a post somewhere I think Chris put out that the Protomorph attacks a Neomorph.  Now the Protomorph from watching the trailer is one pissed off Mofo and would probably shred a Neo.  They don't look to be but half the size of a human.  Maybe Spore = Smaller & Egg = Larger

Hey Bass here im new on this site but been catching up on the new alien covenant movie pretty impressive data specifically on the new species  but anyways

Shoutout to all the xenomorphs amd predators fans out there, Been catching up on all the latest and i Hope to hear a lot more before the release of the new alien vs predator sequel Godspeed!
