That means she gets out and James Franco's character knocks her up after. she could be pregnant when she goes to the planet, but doesn't know it, and gets out and never tells anyone what happened, or the company covers it up. She may have instilled a dash of synthetic person distrust in her daughter as well.
If she's not Ripley's mother, literally anything goes. She is clearly an important component of the plot, but her fate is very uncertain.
On a side note, I wonder if the neomorphs are explosive rather than acidic...

Maybe they are stranded on the planet after the threat has been destroyed or unleashed ... whatever that is... however there are two sequels on the way... hope it doesn't take 5 years until the next one is released....
