I love the warning at the top of the page - "This article has multiple issues" lol Yeah, it's clearly outdated. The proto-morph was a concept in Prometheus, but the Deacon and all of Prometheus' creations were not to show how a Xenomorph was made, but to suggest why a Xenomorph was made. The Black Goo is really at the heart of it all and it remains the focal point for this mystery.

Indeed, the results of PROMETHEUS were only to show the possible outcomes of black goo exposure, and how it was used.

As far as the Proto-Xeno its a term that has to be used wisely... AC has coined  (from Fassbender slip tongue or actualy whats really going to be shown). The Neo-Morph

I think people need to look at things in a different context and Lindeloff said the Hammerpedes and Deacon were Proto-Face Huger and Xeno.

Depends how we see these words... as...

Proto genuinely means ...

*First, Origin, Predecessor meaning what comes first or before. And so Proto could or should mean Predecessor or Origin.

Neo means New or Young and so with the Xeno is a New Form or Young Form.

Ultra-morph means Ultimate as far as form of Xeno.... Morph meaning in context FORM

Xeno-Morph just means Alien-Form
