MemberOvomorphSep-13-2013 6:51 PMI'm sick of Marines and linear First Person Shooters. A 3rd person survival horror game would be really cool. Slow and atmospheric. Intelligent and difficult AI instead of hundreds of easy one.
The only other thing I could see is a Fallout-like/open world FPS. It could be in a world ravaged by the aliens and everyone is living underground or whatever. But it would have to be open world.
No matter what they come out with next, I'm sick of Aliens that come straight at you and get gunned down by the millions.

MemberChestbursterSep-13-2013 8:02 PMI pretty much agree. like on the scified article it said there are shots of test images with dummies that have nostromo shirts on so that seems like a survival game could be in the works. either way I agree with you, I hope it isn't linear shoot em all down with dumb AI

MemberOvomorphSep-18-2013 5:36 PMan online RPG would be fun, i play diablo2-3 and WOW a lot. would be neat for the aliens to have a safe "town" like place which are hives. predators could have their ships landed for their safe place and marines can have bases. there could be quests n crap like that.

MemberOvomorphOct-10-2013 11:51 AMI really, really, really want a Amnesia/Silent Hill/SlenderMan/The Evil Within style game (survival horror with pretty much no weapons, very atmospheric and dark, and damn scary). Make a game like what the very first ALIEN film was: A haunted house horror (but in space)!
Imagine the kind of scenarios in the game like how Dallas is in the vents in the first film with just a diddy flamethrower for light and a lifeform scanner and the dread of having a xeno down there with you (gives me goosebumps!)

MemberOvomorphOct-11-2013 10:12 AMKaijuChris has a point. I think that a survival horror game is the way to go. It would introduce a new generation to how Alien was originally suppose to be. I am not hating on the other games. I think that all of the [i]AVP[/i] games and the past [i]Alien[/i] games were great. That being said, it would be much better if they go in the direction of the original [i]Alien[/i].
