I prefer Lindelof's writing to James Cameron's. All James Cameron did was rehash everything from the first Alien with a bunch of annoying, poorly disciplined marine characters: "Game over, man!! Game OVER!!!"

Lindelof took something pedestrian (the traditional eggs, xenos, facehugger romp) and turned it into something, though maybe a bit flawed, extremely compelling! sincerely, thank you lindelof!

Sorry, but I have no time for him or his way of *non* story telling. Ambiguity has its place, but not where people have waited a hell of a long time for answers about one of their favorite movies.
Black "****" of any kind is his only plot device. And look how well that went down in Lost. Did he learn from that? No.

If he touches any other franchise, consider that fan cult to be dropping soon. Uncertainty is the only certainty there is, and knowing how to live with insecurity is the only security.
