I like to take this time to honor Stan Winston, who passed away June 15th in 2008, without him, we would not have the creature effects in Prometheus today. Thanks Stan for your creative genius! Too true ... what a brilliant man ... My father ... also a brilliant man ;) ... died in February 2008, roughly the same time as Roy Schneider (JAWS) ... all THREE of them had the same thing ... Multiple Myeloma ... cancer of the blood ...

I lost my mom to Cancer when I was based in Turkey, could not be there for like I should of. I saw her once on my leave and then he died a few weeks later when I returned to Turkey, she had ovarian cancer...truly sucks.

Stan Winston was an amazing creature creator, very talented. Cancer took a friend of mine, terrible thing cancer.
