Ummm... what is up with the editing in of Prometheus's name in GIANT characters along with the Weyland logo on the side of the ship?? Its like they are advertising a moving van line!
This looks completely ridiculous. I assume that this has simply been edited into the most recent promo spots for those who have no idea what this flick is about and need a visual cue to tell them the movie title refers to the name of a ship?
Does anyone know what is up with this? Will the ship actually look like that in the final film cut?

yeah we spoke about that a few threads back when that trailer came out ... can't think of the thread name now ...
But like I said it doesn't follow the contours of the ship and it's been plastered on there using camera tracking because they haven't actually put a name on the ship at the moment ... I reckon they forgot lol ... all to do with POST though I reckon ;) ... on the 'to be added' list ...
Oh and someone from the other thread said it was for WEYLAND ... so he got on the right ship ... lol ...

When I think back, things would have been so much easier if they had painted D E A T H S T A R in 50km high letters in Star Wars.
That would have saved Han all of that confusing dialogue.... and having to be corrected by the old man.

The POINT was that is terrible art direction and it looks like it was rendered by an unpaid teenage summer intern.
