MemberOvomorphApr-22-2012 10:14 PMAny thoughts on the guy who wears glasses and is allways (except in Temple) in a hoodie, and other non major characters according to the trailers such as Benedict Wong, Chance, Patrick Wilson, and the thin Scottish gentleman? When Captain Janek shouts"who opened the door!!" it points at some sort of defiance of a direct order or sabatoge. Any backstories for these guys or are they being kept out of the picture until show time? btw these are very good actors , I have seen some of their works.

On Patrick Wilson, unless IMDB is wrong, might have a short appearance as Shaw's father maybe in a dream, flashback or whatever.
The others characters may have less time onscreen in a Ridley Scott film they should have a moment to shine........ and not being just a body bag or mindless mercenary.

MemberOvomorphApr-22-2012 10:56 PMThe "hoodie guy" is Milburn, who is the ship's botanist. Ravel and Chance are the pilots, along with Janek. Patrick Wilson is apparently supposed to be Shaw's missionary father who died when she was young.
