Where Ridley Scott might go with the next installment..(SPOILERS)

MemberFacehuggerMay 19, 2017After seeing Alien: Covenant twice here's where I think Ridley Scott will go with the next installment..
-David takes the Covenant back to LV-223 and takes another alien ship with the embryos and some colonists on board to continue his experiments
-Daniels and Tennessee chase him down and make him crash on LV-426 but they both die trying to stop him and the Covenant is destroyed
- David uses the colonists and embryos to create thousands of Alien eggs on LV-426
-There's an Alien outbreak and David puts on an enormous engineer pressure suit to protect himself
-An alien chestbursts from David's stomach hence David becoming the Space Jockey..
-The other possible scenario Walter is alive and fixes the crashed Juggernaut on Paradise and tries to rescue Daniels. He possibly could crash the Juggernaut on LV-426 too..
This is what I think possibly could happen..What are your thoughts? Where do you think Ridley Scott will take the Alien franchise next?
David is smart, thus he knows Daniels cannot come out of cryo alive. Guessing she gets chest busted when they get a week or so out from the new planet.
@Spearfish I'm not too sure if that'll happen since Katherine Waterston is signed on for another film in the franchise and Ridley Scott probably wouldn't write her off that easily..
Well if that is the case I can already predict a plot hole. She knows his secret. Maybe she ends up in the same condition as Shaw did in this film.
I would imagine as it stands now David holds all the cards. Should be interesting to see how Daniels and T get out of this. I would imagine he could just kill her in cryo sleep. So we shall see.
David is pretty psychotic so maybe he will toy with her.
I think Tennessee is the key for Daniels surviving. It seems that he will somehow be the one to keep her from that quick off death that seems inevitable.
Also, I like the idea of David stopping off at LV_223, I just think that lv_426 Jockey will be shoehorned in. It looked ancient, but will now probably be left there ten years before The Nostromo crew finds it.
Not a map, an invitation
This should be the end of these movies plain and simple. Ridley Scott has no idea what he is doing anymore. Please don't make me watch another one.
Yeah cup the space jockey part is a problem. It can be solved if they can write their way out of it. Please don't crucify me for this but they messed up Prometheus and now they have to fix it. Covenant fixed some stuff I will say that. However, they still have a ways to go. I'm curious to see if they can do it.
David could just cut her arms and legs off and keep her alive to be a birther machine like Shaw.
I fear Ripley will try and make the eggs "younger" than the derelict.
The Jockey crashes, 2000 years later David comes along "Wee, I can place my eggs here!". Since place and signal is known to WY.

I hope Walter heals and somehow fixes crashed Juggernaut and comes after them... In a display of duty/love towards Daniels and Tennessee....which is cool since he isn't capable of feeling emotions like David can, yet his duty is his driving force which looks a whole lot like love.
Having him use the juggernaut in his chase of David is one way to bring a juggernaut that will be needed to link into Alien 1979. Perhaps he uses the Juggernaut to catch up to David and Walter and our protagonists defeat David , perhaps they die in doing so. Let's face it the film will not be happy nor will it end happily so it can and must at least be thought provoking. Having Walter would allow for those conflicting themes of emotional understanding to be used. Love, creator vs creation, duty, what it means to be human all these things with the use of Walters determination to fulfill his duty vs David's mad hatter full on craziness and hatred of humanity.
i say that it would be cool for David to enter the suit in the Juggernaut thinking he will escape and somehow after they die they have set a trap for David using his own creations. The movie ends with David trapped in the Space Jockey chair waiting his demise feeling fear, and hopefully an epiphany of understanding of what he has done and remorse. Fade to black.
Hmm, that's plausible but meh but it would fit. Still though that would mess up things. The spacejockey had its chest exploded. Time travel? I hope not but if they did it right then it could work but that's not easy. Time travel is something you have to be real careful with and can come across as stupid but with unknown engineer tech they could or perhaps David meets the higher beings.
the higher beings could really change everything.
Then Scott could play around with his religious stuff on a profound level especially since David is an AI. Could be interesting and climax the prequels with cosmic premises that defy logic. Hmm..,
@splatterpunk
The 223 Engineers also had their chests busted, some of them at least. With no signs of Xenos or Eggs except for the mural.
I wouldn't like it if they went this way or similar though.

@Tiwaz. I'm in for the long haul and will support the franchise because I want to see the story finished the way Scott wants to. To me it's his swan song. I hope his health holds up so he can finish. I also hope it all ties together and makes sense. I think it will be fine.
To be completely honest he has balls to do this. He could of just let it be but he wants to tell a story. From an author's standpoint he needs to finish this so he can tell the story. Artists don't usually do this sort of thing unless he has something to say. He really needs to surround himself with a good writer. Covenant was better than Prometheus as far as writing but it can still get better.
I applaud him for this speaking as an artist myself:)
As am I, Splatterpunk. I don't mind Shaw being dead or maybe even David creating the derelict eggs. However, I'd like to see consistency story-wise. Without using some lazy mumbo jumbo like time travel. I think that can be expected from someone like Scott.
But as it seems right now, that isn't the case. And I'm not even mentioning the recent canonical novels.

Yeah, time travel is a slippery slope.
I hate to say it but Stephen King was right. When you have something created by bubbling goo or ooze(black goo) or whatever the plot just amounts to nothing in the end. There is a quote he said regarding that or something like it. Hence Prometheus's fatal mistake:(
Meh, what does Stephen King know? He's only the master of horror...
I'm super excited where he'll go with the next one and I'm hoping there is just one more film that links with the original Alien movie. I like the idea of this being a prequel trilogy.
Stephen King. ¬.¬ I read Pet Sematary, didn't finish it coz i was to annoyed by the writing style.
As for the goo it depends on how you define it's properties. If the weaponized form of it was to always deliver a xeno-ish lifeform, either by mutation or infection, it would work.

A lot depends if they are 100% going the route that without what David had done on Paradise (Alien Covenant) there would be No Eggs on the Derelict thus no Xenomorph.
And then if the next movie will directly lead to Alien, like how the end of Prometheus events directly lead to Alien Covenant. (despite not really being covered).
A lot then depends on how David managed to create all those Eggs in Alien Covenant, and if the Xenomorph Life Cycle can lead to Eggs... be it the Egg Morph Route, or a Queen.. or similar but with a Mutated Host.
If these Xenomorphs can not Egg Morph, Can-not Produce a Queen or Can-not mutate a Human to produce Eggs...
Then David Logically would have to be back to LV-223 where he has 2000 Colonists near enough and more Black Goo... He would also need a Engineer Ship and so i think LV-223 is Likely Davids destination.
As for Walter, it depends really how many Ships are on Paradise and can Walter use them, or repair the one in Alien Covenant and either answer to this, we would have to wonder why David did not do the same.
I would say that Walter is stranded unless another Ship Human/Engineer Turns up

Right now here are a Few Plot Holes with Alien... ignoring how the Xenomorph looks different... as this can be evolved.
1) The Size of the Space Jockey (15ft) and how it looked like it was there for a long time and the ship looks more Organic.
These could be a Oversight though.
2) What becomes of LV-223 by the time of Alien and at latest Aliens... why pursue the Xenomorph when the key to its creation lies on LV-223 as well as Engineer Technology?
A way around this would be some event before Alien where LV-223 is Destroyed by some event that is so Powerful it tears a hole in time and Space and the Derelict enters this and crashes hundreds if not thousands of years prior....
The tear in Space is Temporary and closes like soon after..
Basically like the conspiracy theories around the LHC and how a experiment that goes wrong could..
*Create a Portal to another dimension that spells out Doom.
*Create a Worm Hole that may allow travel between dimensions or even travel back or forwards in time.
*Create a Black Hole that will consume the Earth.
