Where Ridley Scott might go with the next installment..(SPOILERS)

After seeing Alien: Covenant twice here's where I think Ridley Scott will go with the next installment..
-David takes the Covenant back to LV-223 and takes another alien ship with the embryos and some colonists on board to continue his experiments
-Daniels and Tennessee chase him down and make him crash on LV-426 but they both die trying to stop him and the Covenant is destroyed
- David uses the colonists and embryos to create thousands of Alien eggs on LV-426
-There's an Alien outbreak and David puts on an enormous engineer pressure suit to protect himself
-An alien chestbursts from David's stomach hence David becoming the Space Jockey..
-The other possible scenario Walter is alive and fixes the crashed Juggernaut on Paradise and tries to rescue Daniels. He possibly could crash the Juggernaut on LV-426 too..
This is what I think possibly could happen..What are your thoughts? Where do you think Ridley Scott will take the Alien franchise next?

I think Tennessee is the key for Daniels surviving. It seems that he will somehow be the one to keep her from that quick off death that seems inevitable.
Also, I like the idea of David stopping off at LV_223, I just think that lv_426 Jockey will be shoehorned in. It looked ancient, but will now probably be left there ten years before The Nostromo crew finds it.

Yeah cup the space jockey part is a problem. It can be solved if they can write their way out of it. Please don't crucify me for this but they messed up Prometheus and now they have to fix it. Covenant fixed some stuff I will say that. However, they still have a ways to go. I'm curious to see if they can do it.

I hope Walter heals and somehow fixes crashed Juggernaut and comes after them... In a display of duty/love towards Daniels and Tennessee....which is cool since he isn't capable of feeling emotions like David can, yet his duty is his driving force which looks a whole lot like love.
Having him use the juggernaut in his chase of David is one way to bring a juggernaut that will be needed to link into Alien 1979. Perhaps he uses the Juggernaut to catch up to David and Walter and our protagonists defeat David , perhaps they die in doing so. Let's face it the film will not be happy nor will it end happily so it can and must at least be thought provoking. Having Walter would allow for those conflicting themes of emotional understanding to be used. Love, creator vs creation, duty, what it means to be human all these things with the use of Walters determination to fulfill his duty vs David's mad hatter full on craziness and hatred of humanity.
i say that it would be cool for David to enter the suit in the Juggernaut thinking he will escape and somehow after they die they have set a trap for David using his own creations. The movie ends with David trapped in the Space Jockey chair waiting his demise feeling fear, and hopefully an epiphany of understanding of what he has done and remorse. Fade to black.

Hmm, that's plausible but meh but it would fit. Still though that would mess up things. The spacejockey had its chest exploded. Time travel? I hope not but if they did it right then it could work but that's not easy. Time travel is something you have to be real careful with and can come across as stupid but with unknown engineer tech they could or perhaps David meets the higher beings.
the higher beings could really change everything.
Then Scott could play around with his religious stuff on a profound level especially since David is an AI. Could be interesting and climax the prequels with cosmic premises that defy logic. Hmm..,

@Tiwaz. I'm in for the long haul and will support the franchise because I want to see the story finished the way Scott wants to. To me it's his swan song. I hope his health holds up so he can finish. I also hope it all ties together and makes sense. I think it will be fine.
To be completely honest he has balls to do this. He could of just let it be but he wants to tell a story. From an author's standpoint he needs to finish this so he can tell the story. Artists don't usually do this sort of thing unless he has something to say. He really needs to surround himself with a good writer. Covenant was better than Prometheus as far as writing but it can still get better.
I applaud him for this speaking as an artist myself:)

As am I, Splatterpunk. I don't mind Shaw being dead or maybe even David creating the derelict eggs. However, I'd like to see consistency story-wise. Without using some lazy mumbo jumbo like time travel. I think that can be expected from someone like Scott.
But as it seems right now, that isn't the case. And I'm not even mentioning the recent canonical novels.

Yeah, time travel is a slippery slope.
I hate to say it but Stephen King was right. When you have something created by bubbling goo or ooze(black goo) or whatever the plot just amounts to nothing in the end. There is a quote he said regarding that or something like it. Hence Prometheus's fatal mistake:(
Meh, what does Stephen King know? He's only the master of horror...

Stephen King. ¬.¬ I read Pet Sematary, didn't finish it coz i was to annoyed by the writing style.
As for the goo it depends on how you define it's properties. If the weaponized form of it was to always deliver a xeno-ish lifeform, either by mutation or infection, it would work.

A lot depends if they are 100% going the route that without what David had done on Paradise (Alien Covenant) there would be No Eggs on the Derelict thus no Xenomorph.
And then if the next movie will directly lead to Alien, like how the end of Prometheus events directly lead to Alien Covenant. (despite not really being covered).
A lot then depends on how David managed to create all those Eggs in Alien Covenant, and if the Xenomorph Life Cycle can lead to Eggs... be it the Egg Morph Route, or a Queen.. or similar but with a Mutated Host.
If these Xenomorphs can not Egg Morph, Can-not Produce a Queen or Can-not mutate a Human to produce Eggs...
Then David Logically would have to be back to LV-223 where he has 2000 Colonists near enough and more Black Goo... He would also need a Engineer Ship and so i think LV-223 is Likely Davids destination.
As for Walter, it depends really how many Ships are on Paradise and can Walter use them, or repair the one in Alien Covenant and either answer to this, we would have to wonder why David did not do the same.
I would say that Walter is stranded unless another Ship Human/Engineer Turns up

Right now here are a Few Plot Holes with Alien... ignoring how the Xenomorph looks different... as this can be evolved.
1) The Size of the Space Jockey (15ft) and how it looked like it was there for a long time and the ship looks more Organic.
These could be a Oversight though.
2) What becomes of LV-223 by the time of Alien and at latest Aliens... why pursue the Xenomorph when the key to its creation lies on LV-223 as well as Engineer Technology?
A way around this would be some event before Alien where LV-223 is Destroyed by some event that is so Powerful it tears a hole in time and Space and the Derelict enters this and crashes hundreds if not thousands of years prior....
The tear in Space is Temporary and closes like soon after..
Basically like the conspiracy theories around the LHC and how a experiment that goes wrong could..
*Create a Portal to another dimension that spells out Doom.
*Create a Worm Hole that may allow travel between dimensions or even travel back or forwards in time.
*Create a Black Hole that will consume the Earth.

Damn I didn't even realize that the 2000 colonists could be the friggin eggs. Unfortunately, it makes it more plausible that they go this way. Stilll, I sort of honestly dig this David-centric prequel series. Having him create the Xeno and being responsible for the lv_426 juggernaught feels shoehorned, but whatever, I guess. Haha it looks like that's what I have to deal with.

I think David gets blown out into space when he fights an Engineer on another juggernaut before it crashes on LV426 with the 2000 colonists now converted to eggs lol. Because nobody from the Nostromo or the later colonists on Hadley's Hope encounter him.

Agreed. From everything I've seen, Ridley and Fox expected Covenant to do less at the box office than Prometheus. As you've stated, the movie looks well on track to pay for it's follow up, regardless of it's flaws and controversial plot.
The doom and gloom is of course the intended reaction illicited by releases from media outlets who hope to get hits off sensational box office reporting.

I think Daniels might be ripleys mother and ripley is one of the colonists on the covenant. Probably about 12 years old. 2104 -2122 making her 30 by the original aliens. Think Walter survives goes after david on lv 223 the future home world of the xenomorphs. Walter saves Daniel's and ripley as a war between engineers and xenomorphs goes on. David escapes some how to head to lv 426 also known as oregae6 and crashes possibly due to the chest burster. People are saying he fixes himself, upgrades and engineers himself and some how makes himself vulnerable to facehuggers who knows. That basically ties into the original aliens Cuz it takes 7 years to get to oregae6. That would make ripley about 19 in 2111 and then 30 in 2122. If we go back to Daniel's and ripley, it is possible that they escape on a ship of some kind and the only thing I can think of is shit hits the fan and Daniel's put ripley in an escape pod and ripley get rescued grows up follows in Daniel's foot steps and gets called to lv 426 11 years later to find david the space jockey.

as long as we go back to lv 223 and we see the adult deacon being the ultramorph and used as a device to trigger the egg thing witouth david manipulation that leads to a queen or something able to reproduce the species on its own.
as long as we see more prometheus engineers fighting the xeno and david..and also providing more spoon fed answers about our creation purpose and demise.
as long as that engineer in lv 426 is trully engineer.
As long as that ultramorph tears david apart and is responsable for impregnating the engineer that crashes on lv426...that borns a queen that lays all those eggs.
i will forgive ridley for all the flaws and ill be a happy man.
just bring that ultramorph already!

Katherine has indicated this prequel trilogy is not about her, and the Ripley connection has been dropped, but about David.
Katherine knows where the Covenant is going and its plot point significant because Ridley came close to revealing it and Katherine stopped him.
For 'T' to survive is significant.
They played "Entry of the Gods into Valhalla " at the end of the movie. Alberich (David) has to deal with a hierarchy including Woton and Erda in the Opera having preferred let go of love (Elizabeth) for the gold (The development of the pathogen).
Ridley has confirmed we will find out whom the Jockey is.
Ridley has said the Engineers are just a superior species there is a layer above them. ("Its quite a complicated story").
We have everything we need to make the connection except a Juggernaut and an antagonist that can deal with David. He has succeeded with mankind and the engineers but in the final film he will be bested, possibly redeemed.
The Eggs are already capable of being created without morphing or a Queen. It is human DNA plus pathogen. Where they are going may contain the catalyser which can be corrupted, David may have a phial with him (worrying about LV223 and LV426 in the same movie feels over complicated, I noticed when we speculated on Covenant people had us dashing all over the place.).
Terraforming Equipment is on board and identified as needed.
The derivation of Origae is charioteer, helmsman, ostler, waggoner (constellation). Helmsman ? Ostler ? Jockey ?
Whatever they let go of in Covenant, Elizabeth and the Engineers, was part of the overall story need to get to the next phase.
David for the purposes of the story has told W - Y as Walter that they are en route to Origae 6 and only "Danny" knows about the switch, 'T' does not. That provides David with the ability to dissemble and marginalise the mad deluded "Danny" riffing to a degree Ripley in A L I E N S.
