***SPOILER WARNING***

-----------------------------

-----------------------------

I thought the back bursting neomorph blew up with Faris but if you watch closely, it escapes off the ship last minute, running down the ramp and into the brush. So there is TWO neomorphs and 1 Xenomorph the characters have to deal with.

Dear Science: You are right.  The back burster scoots off moments before the big explosion wrecks the lander.  They have their hands full.

Today I have been dedicated to post on as many topics as possible until I pass out from drinking too many beers.

Ah yes, a nice night, a cheery fire, breezes stirring the wild grass...and Death x 2 lurking nearby.

I am afraid the very method of propagation of the neomorph is going to be an easy target for people prone to bitching about everything. I can hear them asking why doesn't everybody get infected, or why Oran doesn't gestate both a neomorph and a protomorph (twins) lol

@joylitt : I hope not.  I like this new idea of being infected and these new members of the new family!

@BWW: LOL!

Yeah, guys, we're gonna crackdown on spoilers, i'll be making a post about it soon. We don't want to censor anyone BUT we also don't want this movie ruined for people either.

When Prometheus came out we had huge spoiler issues and a lot of people and mods alike had the whole plot ruined before they got to see the movie, we don't want a repeat of that this time around.

If you must post spoiler-ish details Please clearly mark your work as a spoiler and do not add any info to the title that could also spoil things. Also just a heads up, I will be removing any posts with leaked/bootleg footage. We understand your enthusiasm, just please be careful and respectful of others, ok! xx

Lilly (Svanya) I agree and warn of spoilers, BigDave and others have put out guidance over the last couple months- but is there no responsibility for a member to not click on threads?

@dk, Of course people need to be careful of what they click on, however, sometimes it's easier said than done and all we ask is that posts containing spoilers be clearly marked and that titles not contain any spoiler-ish details in them until a few weeks after the movies release. Bootleg material is always forbidden.

This is not a spoiler at all. It has been discussed everywhere right after the first trailer was released. So don't fret about this non spoiler.

Yeah, I noticed this as well

Here's a slowed down portion of the video for anyone interested, you can see the neomorph leap towards the door and then run down the ramp

Surprising that the newborn Neomorph can withstand a shotgun blast to the chest

Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare...

Glad I'm not the only one who found the slowed down version hilarious.

Kinda reminds me of the slow motion kills in the Fallout 3/4 games lol.

But yea it looks like the explosion blows the neomorph out of the lander and it slides down the ramp, gets up, then runs off

Hardly little buggers aren't they?

About Alien: Covenant

Alien: Covenant Movie

Release Date:

May 19th, 2017

Plot Synopsis:

Ridley Scott returns to the universe he created in ALIEN with ALIEN: COVENANT, the second chapter in a prequel trilogy that began with PROMETHEUS -- and connects directly to Scott’s 1979 seminal work of science fiction. Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world -- whose sole inhabitant is the "synthetic" David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.
