Unguns in David's workshop
No, a glare from two GUNS shining as bright and as brilliant as the morning sun on the floor of David 8's workshop.
No problem.
I'm with you on the 1st gun to the right with the flashlight attached. The second one I'm 50/50 on, too hard for my little eyes to tell.
But if you see a gun, you see one. If you see a flashlight, it's a flashlight. If you see Shaw dancing naked with glow sticks to a Ke$sha song while the Xeno twerks on the ceiling...well...maybe there has to be a line drawn at some point.
Thats so funny. My next theory for the workshop had dancing as well.
I was the one that spoke up about the second one on the left :) me me me and unobjects are scary.
GX-T355, yes you were and you deserve praise. To be honest, I didn't see the second gun flashlight until you pointed it out.
No, SteveRogers1973, not at all.
Thank you, we will pull it together now and be serious.
I have one last bit of sarcasm I promised Hicks/Hudson and then I'll quit. Its called Grand Unified Robot Theory. I believe it will tie together many of the main theories put forth on this forum.
Then, I swear, I will get back to being serious.
Thank you to Facehuggers! , Inquisitor Fifield, ninXeno426, SteveRogers1973, BigDave, Hicks/Hudson, GX-T355.
First, let me pay respect to those that contributed to this topic. The below contributions were serious and great theory and background. Please don’t think your contribution was wasted.
Hicks/Hudson
BigDave - I posted a hypothesis a while ago that the Engineers had been abducting humans from Earth and bringing them there for experimentation. Maybe these skulls are left overs from a time long passed and David is studying them?
SteveRogers1973
The still of the cryo pods could be from anywhere in the movie. Remember that there is an entire colony of people on the ship.

First i would add about that Laboratory and i thought the leaked Prop room was for the creature department to get some inspiration and use those Skeletons to basically work out how to design new Monsters by studding anatomy of other animals.
One Person on Set even said they had a Cat Skeleton in parts and she took it back with her and confirmed they was used in the design stage of Creatures.
But the Trailer 2 does seem to show some of these are in the movie...
So now i can answer those Small Skulls.... they are not from Monkeys or similar... they are Human Baby Skulls from a Fetus thats over 25 weeks up to a New Born and few weeks old.
Why and where would David have access to such things?
Shaw? how does he manage to get her Pregnant with Humanoids, unless there are Engineers and well they can procreate only they had no Females as they either Engineered themselves past the need, or Females was lost/taken from them in the past (Paradise has dead female Engineers) maybe this is why the Fallen Angels favored the Daughters of Man?
Because there is only a few ways David could get his hands on New Born or Pre-born Humanoid Babbie's.
These and others were great contribution to the discussion. Talk about support…thank you Hicks/Hudson, I’ll address dancing in the theory below. And finally, last but not least, the title of this posting would be different without the contribution of GX-T355.
We would have debated the “Ungun in David’s workshop” had GX-T355 not provided the value added second Ungun. A very happy unbirthday to you GX-T355.
All of these above contributions are to be taken seriously. The contribution below, not so much. I wrote this theory below to set a baseline for others to feel good about their theory. Your theory and discussion are not crap and you will feel better once you read the below take on the missing backstory.
Grand Unified Robot Theory
Peter Weyland was born October 1, 1990 in Mumbai, India. Having an engineer and a professor of mythology for parents gave young Peter a leg up in his enrichment activities.
Peter was awarded a patent at age 14 for a synthetic trachea he developed from stem cells. Although, easily surpassing his peers in academic development, Peter had one love that would last his life that wasn’t in medicine, mythology, robotics, or space travel.
Peter wanted to dance. And not just any dance, Peter wanted to break dance. Growing up in Mumbai, Peter had access to the best of bootleg movies. One movie Peter purchased was Breakin’ from 1984. This movie lit a fire inside of Peter. A burning fire of a need to dance.
The below image is David performing Entrance of the Gods into Valhalla with his hands hammering the keys like Elton John with titanium fingers. David is a dynamo on the piano and he began to sing lyrics to the song others hadn’t heard before.
David sang in prophetic words,
Run. Don’t mind the alien but still run.
Run from the two guns in my workshop Inquisitor Fifield.
Guuuuhhhhhaaaaaaaauuunns, run from the two unguns….
Then Walter took over with the synthesizer.
You are unable to see Peter Weyland break dancing to this but he almost set the smooth white floor on fire with his backspin in a silk suit. There is a shadow on the wall from Peter breaking down into his spin behind David hammering on the keys of the piano.
Over time, break dancing took a toll on Peter and he wasn’t able to do the backspin anymore. Peter Weyland got to a point where he could only do the robot (hence Grand Unified Robot Theory).
David had told the Engineer what was important to Peter Weyland not knowing that Engineers hate break dancing.
yup, he flipped out.
Seriously sorry for triggering what ever was your problem
(but there is no w-y storm rifle in the lab)
@Ingenerio, that was beautifully and masterfully well done. I forgot Peter Weyland's street name was Bugaloo Shrimp.
BTW, most fun I've had in a thread.
Inquisitor Fifield, I believe my Peter Weyland break dancing story is closer to the truth than no guns in David's workshop.
You mocked 3 different people's in one post, one really got their feelings hurt.
"Where do you think you are seeing this rifle in that picture?
There are high res version of this screencap possible you know.
i can guarantee you its neither in that picture nor in the movie even if we would like to have it..
Engineer like male on the dissection table = Shaw
Massive and tall male blurred figure stumbling up the stairs = Mutated Shaw
Some pixels = weyland storm rifle"
And now for the second verse:
Don't trip over the 2 guns in my workshop
and don't point your crusty troll finger
if you have thin skin Inquisitor Fifield
Walter begins to beat box at this point.
Thank you Hicks/Hudson. There is a lot to the Peter Weyland backstory we haven't seen yet.
Honestly - this may qualify as a HUGE spoiler...I mean, clearly this "reveal" is the ultimate direction of the entire canon. I believe that Blomkamp wanted to make "Alien 5" - not it's true working title of course - the big tie in between Aliens and Breakin 2: Electric Boogaloo. Obviously these too genre have long been connected and Blomkamp finally wanted to tie it all together. Ridley caught wind of it, as everyone knows he loathes break dancing, and had the studio execs squash it.
The horse has left the barn now though....way to go @Ingeniero...they better delete this thread or the franchise is toast.
@SteveRogers - They can't delete this, it's the groundwork for the future of the Alien franchise.
Picture this: A dark, desecrated temple. The Xeno emerges from one end of the room, a Protomorph descends from the ceiling, and Ultramorph bursts through the floor, and...in a shocking twist...Peter Weyland slowly meanders in from the other side of the room. They all stare at each other...sweat, saliva, black goo, slime...all dripping from them in anticipation for....
DJ DAVID 8 TO START SPINNING LV-223'S HOTEST BEATS! The Xeno pops, locks, and drops it...the Ultra breaks in the center, the Proto does the robot, and Peter does the worm! (The dance, not the Hammerpede, sorry this isn't NC-17 guys).
on second thought......maybe you're right Steve. We should all abandon this now.
It is almost like we are operating with a hive mind now Hicks/Hudson and SteveRogers1973.
The xeno-rave run by David 8 and the tie in to Electric Boogaloo (Yutani Corporation back story)...have you seen the script for Grand Unified Robot Theory 2?
All joking aside, Inquisitor Fifield now has a clear case of flipped out documented on me.
Still, please feel free to use this topic to post updates and analysis to the Grand Unified Robot Theory and any ungun developments.
I promised SteveRogers1973 I would hold off after posting that.
One last thing, "me me me and unobjects are scary", GX-T355 thank you for that nugget.
Back to business.
On second thought, maybe the dance party was the answer that Shaw sought...the key to Weyland's (boogie down) immortality...and the fire that Prometheus stole...was the newest, hottest moves.
