I have been notified that others are betting the farm that David 8's workshop is gun-free.

Weyland legit drag queen after moving on from breaking.

PraetorianMember3422 XPMar-09-2017 5:01 PM

S.M, you are now officially under consideration for promotion to Director (from associate director) for Grand Unified Robot Theory 2.

PraetorianMember3422 XPMar-09-2017 5:05 PM

And with your new privileges (as Director, it's just about a lock with you finding the main character for Grand Unified Robot Theory 2) S.M, let me start by saying I'm sorry I gave you sass mouth regarding the Weyland Industries hostile takeover of Yutani-Corporation.

I was narrow-minded in my assessment of your response.

PraetorianMember3422 XPMar-09-2017 8:40 PM

How about another song for those ears covered in thin skin Inquisitor Fifield?

Coming soon: The lyrics to the soundtrack for Grand Unified Robot Theory 2 with special guest Inquisitor Fifield honking the clown horn like he is on fire.

It will be a regular crusty clown troll dance blowout.

PraetorianMember3422 XPMar-09-2017 8:42 PM

Leave your unguns at the door.

ninXeno426, I kind of felt like we were on the same page a little while back (days, still important to me) and now that you have adapted the ungun anthology to Johnny Cash...let's just say I feel ya.

PraetorianMember3422 XPMar-09-2017 9:33 PM

ninXeno426, did you notice the "fire" reference in both the Grand Unified Robot Theory and the Grand Unified Robot Theory 2 soundtrack announcement?

This was a sub reference to Prometheus and my humble attempt at being a part of the anthology back story.

PraetorianMember3073 XPMar-09-2017 10:05 PM

Thanks and indeed I did Ingeneiro, tell me more about your anthology backstory

Nothing the God of biomechanics wouldn't let you in heaven for

PraetorianMember3422 XPMar-09-2017 10:16 PM

Oh no, I can't...ninXeno426.

Well a little but I can't give out all the secrets of Grand Unified Robot Theory 2.

One item I can allude to is that the black goo is used on crusty clown trolls...and I can't even go into context or frame of reference.

OK, one small explanation.

They are devoured to benefit the surrounding environment.

PraetorianMember3073 XPMar-09-2017 10:19 PM

LOL!Okay Ingeneiro,I think I get it though lol

I'm sorry it took so long for me to respond, they had to retrieve me from the recesses of the temple. I had to withdraw and have time with my thoughts in order to prepare for Grand Unified Robot Theory 2.

Hicks/Hudson, wow me?, what warmth. I am really flattered. Please stay on as Executive Producer for Grand Unified Robot Theory 2. You have worked so well with our Head Writer, Art Concept Guru, and Lead Story Line Editor.

I have to go back into the temple now but please let me say this now before I return to the catacombs of the responsible use of time chamber:

Just for your concern, i stopped reading a couple of pages ago - you can stop making posts in your 'humor' adressed at me, dear mentally compromised Person.

(I'll bump this thread in may, to declare victory in the debate over the rifle-free lab, tho)

ChestbursterMember907 XPMar-10-2017 10:26 AM

This thread has officially jumped the shark.

FacehuggerMember152 XPMar-10-2017 11:32 AM

@Inquisitor Fifield - LOL! Ever the optimist, I love it good sir!

The rifle is in the lab per the picture, dropped or knocked out of good man Uli's hands before he becomes my opinion of course.

PraetorianMember3422 XPMar-11-2017 12:35 PM

I have returned from the catacombs of the responsible use of time chamber. I have contributed the minimum required to maintain my personal relationships outside of this forum and now wish to contribute once again to the discussion.

No one likes their belly exposed Inquisitor Fifield but I was distracted by the hateful and vulgar things you wrote to me and others. We can agree to disagree on the topic regarding the rather clearly shown rifles on the floor of David's workshop.

You said stop in your last comment. I can respect that and will.

I respectfully ask you to please not say such mean and hurtful things to others in regards to their opinions and work. Especially me.

I still invite anyone to use this as a safe space for sarcasm and ideas for future production of that nature.

PraetorianMember3422 XPMar-19-2017 7:54 PM

A trailer for this topic has been uploaded to YouTube.

Thank you all contributors.

FacehuggerMember143 XPMar-20-2017 11:25 PM

Inquisitor Fifield,  you really are Fifield huh?  Lol

DeaconMember10416 XPMar-21-2017 2:28 AM

Looked at this image again...

And regardless of if its Guns or Not, it would have to be at least as SteveRogers1973 mentioned... at least Flash Lights.

So your point Ingeniero stands these objects are Human Technology and we have to ask how did they get there...

One Gun/Flashlight could have been Latukefu's but then who had the other?

Also the whole Davids Workshop has Lamps that appear to be something the LV-223 Engineers Tech would not match and also maybe not what the more Ancient Paradise Tech lacks.

So where did these come from?

PraetorianMember3422 XPMar-21-2017 7:36 AM

Yes BigDave. The human tech is out of place. One thing that Ridley Scott mentioned in his last round of interviews in regards to Dr. Shaw and the Alien: Awakening slip (deliberate or not) was the period in between LV-223 and Paradise.

David 8 could have been on Paradise for a year after nine years of harvesting technology from another human colony or craft.

They were in a juggernaut, so that breaks through limitations of human spacecraft as far as reach for David 8 and Dr. Shaw before David 8 went to Paradise.

It does look like the Engineer bodies rotted away when Daniels is on the stone ramp.

I still believe this pic below is from another time (as much as years) in relation to when the Covenant crew arrived.

FacehuggerMember205 XPMar-21-2017 11:21 AM

I disagree! (Most respectfully, ofcourse)

I think that the picture of the bodies and the cloaked figure is from when David (and maybe Shaw) came to the Paradise. The picture where David shoots the flare is from the first encounter withe the covenant crew and the Neo:s.

The picture with Daniels at the ramp is further in to the picture, maybe from a second or third visit to the temple. Look at Daniels face. That is the face of someone who knows she is in mortal danger and has very slim chances of surviving. I'd reckon that that would not be the case when they first visit the temple and the captain gets a hug.

Just my thoughts on the matter.

@Ingeniero and NinXeno  -  you guys are on unfire. Have my respect.

PraetorianMember3422 XPMar-21-2017 12:44 PM

Thank you Parkerparrot, good debate. I certainly can't know for sure...I did speculate here.

The latest press came out and said this:

"we saw Captain Oram talking to an android played by Michael Fassbender. However, this wasn’t the newly revealed Walter model. It’s David, the android last seen in Prometheus, who explained to Oram that he’s become something of an amateur zoologist. As the camera lingered on dissected specimens, David revealed he’s been studying the xenomorph. He explained that he’s mapped how insectoid carriers burst from spores to infect hosts and create hybrid lifeforms."

In the top picture David 8 (see article quote above...if they are correct) is talking to Captain Oram. David 8's hair is its natural color in an attempt to "look" like he is still operating under his original directives marooned and ready to serve human interests.

The long blond hair hanging out of the hood of the Engineer cloak is gone from David 8 talking to Captain Oram near the egg.

This, I believe, is an attempt by David 8 to keep the Covenant crew calm and lure then towards the lifeforms (eggs) he cultivated on Paradise.

It's the hair that throws me off in the Engineer cloak hood.

How could David 8, with long blond hair (see above), attack the Covenant crew after displaying the eggs (above) for Captain Oram when David 8 has short brown hair (his natural color)?

David is born bald so his hair grows. That is why I believe that the flare picture is from another crew taken over at another time on Paradise during the decade from when we last saw David 8 on LV-223.

Rock and unRoll Farlander.

PraetorianMember3422 XPMar-21-2017 1:58 PM

And, to get really way off topic, I see seven pyramids/triangles in this image.

FacehuggerMember205 XPMar-21-2017 3:09 PM

@ Ingeniero

I totaly missed that thread! How could I possibly do that! Very interesting. And the gizmodo article I had'nt read either. The backburster scene will be just awesome (if that is a adequate word for something as horrific as that) I must spend more time here...

As for  the blond hair i am not sure what to believe... To me it looks as if it might be something in the background, lit up. But as I said, I am not sure.

I must say that I really do appreciate our chats here. You have sutch thougt trough points and visions on things.

By the way, If You mean the pyramids/triangels only You can see it might be an untri.....

PraetorianMember3422 XPMar-21-2017 4:47 PM

Parkerparrot, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sound mystical with the triangles comment.

I was talking about the triangular shapes (in the image above) in the hood, lit up face, hood shadow, the lower cloak opening, overall cloak figure, etc...the triangle shape (below) seems to be a visual habit in the trailers.

I appreciate the chats here too. Thank you for saying that.

PraetorianMember3422 XPMar-28-2017 2:45 PM

You just can't make this up.
