Is this David's workshop?

I believe that David used Shaw to create the new eggs.  She apparently had the reproductive system compatible with the black goo to do so as seen in Prometheus.  She created the first ever face hugger.  I do believe this is David's workshop and that he somehow "impregnated" Walter to create the Xenomorph.  See picture.  Whose face is this writhing with a chest burster?

Not sure whose face that is.  One would assume if it is Walter, the blood would not be red/dark in color as it appears to be in the shot.  Not only is Elizabeth Shaw (Rapace) going to play some part we know not about yet, but I think Jacob Branson (Franco) will too.

The guy in that picture looks like his hair is too long to be Fassbender to me. I actually have no idea who he is, Crudup's stunt double? He's the only one for sure we know right now who gets facehugged. Somebody else entirely? And I actually don't think David experiments on Shaw at all.

Judging by the amount of material David has to work with on the Planet  and the diagrams in his Lab, I think he has created the eggs (from years of work) from this material and perhaps what he has taken from Shaw?

I still feel Shaw will be used for something more that parts

The above picture looks more like Walter riething in pain than anyone else from the crew, very interesting...

However this may be just a red herring as I think the biomechanical Xeno will not be produced until the next film/s and i believe the embryos on the Covernant will play a part in the future too

From what Ive heard there are no embryos on the covenant, that was only reported ion the 4chan leak, but we know know that to be false, and they only have people in cryo on board

Yes, and I'm guessing some of the people in cryo are used in some way.  Maybe they become "lab rats" for David's experiments?  Heck, maybe David could tap into W-Y's database and see what the Covenant's mission was and what would be on board, sent the signal to get them to stop just so he could have more "lab rats", whether he needs them to help Shaw or not.

It's not Walter at all, it's either an odd angle of shooting Crudup or some other Fodder character. Walter has been seen in the trailer in the screen monitor after the Alien get's on board the actual Covenant and Tennessee/Daniels are trying to trap it and shoot it into space.

first thats not Walter... Hair is too long, as far as Blood it depends if Walter is a Synthetic Construct (Part Organic) or 100% Synthetic... if he is the latter his blood would be white if he is a construct then who knows.

It could be Crudup.... however... this would require TWO major mistakes by Ridley Scott... which he has previous for however.. but not this close a shot.. Unless its his old Age and time to put his Directing Boots to bed....

This person in the Chest Buster Shot..

1) Looks different, hair is lighter and face is different, maybe its a Stunt Double but then for this close a shot.. what a mistake... this person does not match the other 15 Last Super Crew either....

2) The T-shirt is a far lighter shade of Grey than Crudups...

So the only explanation is its SOMEONE else... or Ridley took a close shot with a Stunt Double and hoped we would not notice and then also forgot to match the color of the clothing.

Yesterday some interviews etc came out where Waterton refereed to Walter as a friendly Androids and David.. she just hinted... oh well...

I think its one BIG Red Herring.....  and i think Walter will be thought of as a Good Guy but would be revealed as the Bad Guy and the shot on he Covenant is when he is looking like he is trying to trap the Alien.. but he is actually trying to Trap Daniels and McBride

The Workshops shot is interesting as it had Materials that are too low Tech for LV-223 Engineers and Too High Tech for Ancient Engineers... they look more like Earth based Tech brought along..

its Crudup who dies there not Walter or others and there is only one Xenomorph in this movie not multiple but a few Neomorphs too :-) and yes if you look at the trailer and then room where ridley is sitting, its the workshop :-) as to what happened to Shaw and if she was used for is unclear, just like the egg morph theory is kinda not able to be answered. You see many eggs in the chamber with Crudup, now quite sure about that whole subject yet :-) and i am not sure if David has done something to Shaw or they have really become weird friends :-) i can picture both

Here is another angle of what some of us think is David's workshop.

Once you get past the face hugger flash, notice the skulls in a bowl and the 3 sizes of eggs in the background...and a small creature skeleton.

Is it David's lab? Or was/is it someone else's lab originally? 

Remembering the events in Prometheus we're talking about bio weapons/weaponized organisms. And weapon development involves testing. Is Paradise merely a testing site?

Where is the lab located? Certainly not aboard the juggernaut, the interior doesn't fit. Leaves the only other known structure, the dome like "temple". From set reports we know it wasn't build for humans (huge stairs etc.). So what was the temples purpose? Test facility for weapons? Since there are already thousands of corpses in the emmediate vicinity. 

Therefor what is he doing there? Studying what has been done there before or developing something himself? Why the drawings and diagrams? David is an Android, you'd think he doesn't need this kind of "memory helper".

The guy writhing around is either Matt Scaletti or....Guy Pearce.

Hear me out.

The actor looks a little like him. Is he playing Peter Weyland? A clone? A relative that resembles Peter Weyland? Remember, the alien franchise likes to do that stuff (Bishop in Aliens, the human(ish?) Lance Henricksen in Alien 3 that was identical to Bishop). Just another thought, probably not true at all haha, just thought I'd toss it out there.

Tiwaz that could most certainly be someone else's lab that had inventory of black goo tech.

David 8 could have taken urns off the juggernaut he traveled in and built his workshop or updated an existing workshop.

Hicks/Hudson, I can't make out who that is in the photo. The image right before it in the trailer looks like Walter running in a panic with a hat on but why would Walter panic?

Based on the ears, i'd say it's Fassbender, though the nose doesn't look right. The brow could be either Franco or Fassbender. The nose looks more like Franco's. Crudup's features are too sharp, his brows arch, he doesn't match. Walter/David's hair could be slicked back and longer than it seems, the red blood wouldn't belong to an android though. It is possible they digitally altered released footage/images this time around. 

The watch and ring match Crudup's. Who is the only known facehugging victim. The face is a mystery. It looks a lot like Fassbender.  It's too early in the timeline for the semi organic constructs from fire and stone.
