20th Century Fox and Entertainment Weekly have debuted two new movie stills from Alien: Covenant! The first image is of Walter in board the Covenant, as the mission begins. This shot shows Walter inspecting what I believe to be a piece of one of the Cryo-stasis pods - most likely that belonging to James Franco's character Branson, as we know something happens to his stasis pod, leading to his deteriorating health we witnessed in The Last Supper Prologue video. Could this mean Brandon's stasis pod was sabotaged? Is Walter the culprit or the detective?
Next up we have another shot of the David vs. Paradise scene which was teased in the recent Empire Magazine issue. This image however shows David unveiling the payload, before the Urns were actually released from the Juggernaut's cargo hold. These images offer a pretty decent example of how the weapon systems of these Engineer ships function.

The future of Alien
The Alien franchise is taking a dramatic turn at 20th Century Studios, now owned by Disney. Currently there are two major Alien projects in development - a new Alien TV series by Noah Hawley and a new, stand-alone Alien movie being directed by Fede Alvarez. Both of which will be taking the franchise in a new direction - moving away from the Alien prequel direction Ridley Scott set out to pursue back in 2012.
