Fox's official Alien: Covenant website has been updated with AlienCovenant.com linking to an Alien: Covenant page on Fox Movies' official site! The website features the film's plot synopsis and cast info, however no trailer.... yet.
We have also discovered another official Alien: Covenant website, which as far as we can tell is still under construction. The site appears to be a UK based domain which Fox plan on using to promote ticket sales in the United Kingdom. One of our regulars, Daniel Woods alerted us of the domain and after research its WHOIS information, have confirmed that it is in fact owned and managed by Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation.
As I said, the site seems to be under construction, despite being publicly accessible. Funny enough, the Facebook icon in the top right of the website's template actually links to the Independence Day: Resurgence UK Facebook page, not an Alien: Covenant page.
Most images on the website are broken and when I tried to access them through direct URL after viewing the page's source code, I was met with an "Access Denied" response. However, the Synopsis tab works and offers an up-to-date version of Alien: Covenant's official synopsis:
Ridley Scott returns to the universe he created, with ALIEN: COVENANT, a new chapter in his groundbreaking ALIEN franchise. The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.
The "Share" tab also works, with links to share the tagline "Watch #aliencovenant with me" to Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus.
Also, scanning through the site's source code, I also located what will eventually be the Alien: Covenant trailer embed code. Sadly though, the server hosting the video and most images for the website is inaccessible, at least for me. However, the link is: dx35vtwkllhj9.cloudfront.net/twentiethcenturyfox/alien-covenant/video/' + S.vM.moviePathName() + '.mp4'.
I was able to download a text-less version of the poster, the "Get tickets" image which is featured as the head of this article and the icon (same as the poster) used for the site's social media.
Beyond this I wasn't able to scrape much else out of the site's code. The rest of the images and videos which will eventually be properly displayed are locked up and can't be accessed through direct URL.

Alien: Covenant will release in theaters on May 18th in the UK and May 19th in North America.

The Alien franchise is taking a dramatic turn at 20th Century Studios, now owned by Disney. Currently there are two major Alien projects in development - a new Alien TV series by Noah Hawley and a new, stand-alone Alien movie being directed by Fede Alvarez. Both of which will be taking the franchise in a new direction - moving away from the Alien prequel direction Ridley Scott set out to pursue back in 2012.
