Empire Magazine have just posted a new article with a clearer look at the new Alien: Covenant movie still we reported on yesterday. The still is of director Ridley Scott speaking with lead actress Katherine Waterston during a climactic scene from the film. In this piece as well, Waterston explains that Alien: Covenant wastes no time throwing the crew into turmoil - adding that unlike Ripley in Alien, Daniels is forced into survival mode from the very beginning.
Unlike Sigourney in Alien, [Daniels] is in a survival mode of sorts from the beginning. She’s not the captain, but she’s a natural leader so in times of crisis she falls into that position quite easily.
